molasses/sugar

yeah i guess i shouldve said no immediate way to know if it helps..thats like a 4 month science project youd have to perform to know if the molasses/sugar really helps the bud that much

got some free packets of raw sugar from starbucks. gona try the 1 tsp per gallon idea in a DWC with some w. widows. they're already at week 3 in bloom under 40o hps. if it's true, i can take a couple pics and post. but if not, then i'll be bummed and not post again in here.. lmao
thanks for the sugar/ molases ideas. i learn something new each time i log in here and i've tried some great ideas. supercropping for sure! good luck with your ladies fellas.

from what i've read and experimented with- molasses is helpful because it not only contributes to the plant itself but also the beneficial micro organisms that dwell in the medium. these organisms help to break down nutrients and allow the plants root system to be more efficient at collecting nutes. These beneficial beasties can only live though if your water is unchlorinated. also you have to use the molasses without the sulphur as that kills them as well.
 
I've been trying syrup the last few waterings(no not every). Pancake syrup. No clue if its doing anything, but I already had it on hand and figured it can't hurt. How different can it really be than molasses?

it might have preservatives in it- unless it says no preservatives
 
i filter all the water i give to the plants so that must unchlorinate it. and ok..no sulphur. im def going to try the molasses thing in a couple weeks
 
hey bmh letting your water sit for 36-48 hours gets rid of most of the chlorine i dont think filtering gets rid of the chlorine unless its specificlly says so.

ok, yeah. most of the water that i use for the plants has been sitting for that long..but from now on ill make sure it all has been
