It was the best! They stayed here for three weeks. I miss them so much.

I took off for Home Depot yesterday and heard a loud thump on the freeway. I thought I just hit one of the markers the wrong way. When I turned off of the freeway at the bottom of the off-ramp I drove over some lane markers and they were very loud. I swerved the car to check the response and it was mushy. At this point I knew I had a flat. I pulled in at the nearest parking lot and called AAA.

Facetimed my Grandson and my daughter and they helped me relax. He loved seeing the tow truck.

AAA got me in 30 minutes and flatbed towed me to Costco. The tire had a large piece of sheet metal shaped like a hunting knife right through the center of the tire! Costco charged me $29 under warranty to replace the tire. I love Costco and AAA!

Pool Update

Here are some pics of the pool progress.

Plumbing attempt #1 - These are professionals!

I had the deck removed by another contractor at a fraction of what the pool place wanted:

Plumbing attempt #2 - One guy showed up after two weeks and tried forcing pieces together.

Plumbing attempt #3 - they still didn't finish the stubbs in the right places!

Deck-O-Seal:

It is the sand epoxy mixture they put in all of the concrete expansion joints. We had these plastic channels that were all broken and sharp - full of nasty stuff.
