Happy New Year!

2017 looks to be a great growing season. I have collected over a foot of rainwater in the last two months. Seedlings are popping up everywhere!

I was just thinking the other day how nice it would be to have a citrus tree... Mo your garden just has it all

Yeah buddy, happy to see this!

I am getting back going over here too after wet season subsided. Have 14 females and 5 males at about a month and just started another 30 seeds a week ago. Kids started a bunch of cover crops and chilis and I planted about 20 turmeric roots down.

Any chance of a screen room pic? I love that thing

lol from the plants I harvested a month or so back, but it was sourced locally, There is loads of fresh ginger and turmeric used locally here. I think Don Tesla might know where someone has some though

Not sure how good this is, but Amazon has it as well....You only need about an inch long piece to make a nice plant that produces alot of root

I want to try some ginger and tumeric this year. Just gonna do them in containers. How long should i start then before last frost.... 6-8 wks?

Awesome VN thank you. I can buy fresh turmeric at my local grocery store. I would love to grow it though.

Assume that should be enough time to get them up and growing well. No frosts here so thats not a hurdle of mine
