Modifing pc fan for Zen's carbon filter

do you guys think scince i already have enough exaust and intakes if i where 2 put this inside the box in the middle it would filter the aroma

probably not. you want to put the filter on the exhaust fan so that all the air going out of the box gets "cleaned". Dose any one know though if you can put the filter on the sucking/ pulling side of the fan instead of the blowing/pushing side?

I also wonder if it works pulling through the filter instead of pushing the air out.

Hey great job, I have a very similar setup, with pretty much the same fan the only difference is your fan is stronger and your setup is way neater. Mines pretty damn ghetto and weaker then yours and works fine for the cab, I thought the filter would of given me issues but none so far. Keep up the good DIY work, Plus rep to you for a nice clean project!

Thanks. I still have that same fan, and it still works great. As for the grow box, I upgraded to a taller one. The door on this kept coming off, the holes for the screws got stripped out from opening/closing to much.

yea I know what you mean i gave up on hinges and screws lol. I now just rock a board with a groove to slide it into the suction does the rest. Simple yet effective,
