Moby Dick by Dinafem (Spanish co.) smoke report

Once again from the autocultivation club. I've been told by the grower dinafem's Moby Dick is by far much better than Green House's, he says the latter is just a banal haze whereas the former is something to rave about. This was grow in soil and organically

(I had this strain for the first time in Amsterdam in a Coffeeshop called Betty Boop 2. That was the friendliest coffeeshop i went to in the Dam i recomend everyone to go there dont go to amsterdam without spending a morning there and it also was Dinafem. The owner of this place is a Japanese bloke who keeps giving you cookies and glasses of water and is genuinely a great bloke to chat with.)

This is a crazy looking sativa. I'm told it's genetics lie with haze and white widow. Really dense buds with funny looking sativa bud clusters with light brown hairs and an unreal amount of crystals. A good haze can have large amount of crystals but this is extreme for a mostly sativa plant. They are of almost a creamy slightly amber colour it makes you drool man! Sorry about the picture but the camera is shit and theres so many crystals it cant focus properly... In appearance I have to give it a 9/10 these are top notch buds.

It smells like you're in Amsterdam, the memories i have from amsterdam is always finding crazy haze crosses about. That distinctive smell of haze is easily distinguishable if someone is smoking it in a room. Moby Dick has a very piney fragrance almost like you're in a pine resin harvesting forest area where they make cuts in pine trees to extract resin with strong sweet and spicy undertones that open a channel through each nostril. It also has strong tones of a shut victorian library with all that good oak and leather covers. It has a somewhat chemical pungency to it. A great example of a haze hybrid smell trully great! Have to it a 9/10 again because it really deserves it.

The smoke is very light smooth sativa smoke. You could toke this all day if it wasn't for this plant's psychoactive properties... The taste is pretty hazey really, not as complex as the smell is taste piney maybe but i think just hazey is the best way to describe it. Thogh its slightly sweeter than most hazes, i find most hazes leave my mouth a bitter taste, not this one. Still I wouldn't call ity the tastiest haze i've had. I'll give it a 7/10 in taste.

The high is really unexpected from a sativa. It reminds me a bit of a good amnesia high though i'd say perhaps even stronger! It hits you in the head in a sativa way but with an indica potency. It's a bit tricky to describe this one but this is a truly a well engineered hybrid guys! A very special high! It has a loong lasting effect as well which doesnt wear off slowly.
It hits your body just right as well but you feel it mainly in your brain in a chilled yet excited way. I will give it an 8.5/10

Overall this is a VERY good strain especially considering it flowers pretty fast! Great looking sativa buds with crazy crystal production and a smell you soon wont forget in a haze with a high that litteraly will remain in your brain hence hard to forget i give it an 8.5/10 it was 2,5 grams for 20 euros

Dont know anyone who has grown it but if it's dinafem it will be tits guaranteed. Next time you consider getting seeds from a spanish seed company I TRULY recommend you take a thorough look at Medical seeds. Seriously fucking top notch genetics. Theres a good 4 strains that are an absolute must try. Their Sour diesel is very similar to Soma's New york diesel in terms of taste but a lot more mandarin tones and much more accentuated taste. The high is much better as well! I found it a perfected soma's New York. Also there's another wee seed company called Beta seeds which has one absolute wild fire strain called fresh diamond. I don't know the genetics but i know that the owner of the seed bank is an old school stoner whos kept collecting mums and dads of the best strains as they were coming. From what I'm told he passed some of his genetics onto Medical seeds. Also i was told Medical seeds should release a new age amazing kush soon a cross of some clafornian and canadian genetics. I cant wait to see that!

i can also vouch for dinafem.

they are one of the best breeders ive ever purchased from. all their genetics are top notch that ive grown. original amnesia is probably the most potent strain ive ever grown. 1 hit and u feel high (nearly 11 yrs smoking experience and 1 hit = medium high). smoke a bowl to yourself and paranoia ensues. the original amnesia is a haze x northern lights.

im currently growing a critical jack thats done nothing but please me so far. it smells lovely and its got the production of critical+ but the smell of what im assuming is jack herer traits as the critical+ i grew from dinafem had a fuel/fruity/berry smell. this is more lemony (but not quite) and musky.

never had a hermie from dinafem either.

i also have a diesel from them in my stock of seeds ive saved up over various seed orders.



only potential complaint is 1 of their beans didnt sprout but idk if it was my fault or theirs and considering everything i did grow out was AWESOME im not complaining.

i wish they stocked a bit more indicas though.

Nice! I didnt know their amnesia was all that. Isn't the cross they mentioned to make their amnesia the same as silver haze though? I'm pretty sure Silver haze is nl with haze and then amnesia haze is silver haze back crossed with either nl or haze (cant remember)?
I've come across sensi seeds Silver Haze and oh! my! days!!! It smelled like puuuuuuuure vanilla ice cream! It was the second best haze cross smell I'd come across! The best was an amnesia haze from the owner of Medical seeds. He gave us a nug of some amnesia he grew and had an 9 month cure. Fuck me it smelled like aniseed. A true complex sweet and spicy smell I doubt I will come across in the near future.
You are right they should try to increase their indica stock.
I've had my eyes on critical jack for a while I even told a mate to do a grow of it cause it has to be fucking fenomenal! Glad to hear you are finding it so! If you are a fan of critical + I honestly and truly recommend you to grow channel + by Medical seeds - you will be absolutely hurricaned away!!!

medical seeds has been on my "to buy" list as well. ive put it off though since the tude doesnt sell them pick and mix. i was interested in their prozack (hoping it works like prozack if u took prozack on a pint of alcohol lol) but when i asked on the forums people told me it wasnt gonna be any good so i never bought anything from them.i fully intend to though.

all i know about the original amnesia is its a "haze x northern lights" cross but thats it. i can clearly tell its a haze cross for sure. it will get your ungodly high. lol.

when i first tried it i packed a bowl and killed the whole thing to myself (not expecting it to be so potent) and had a borderline panic attack. its really strong. loads of kief could be made from it as well based on how my buds came out.

Dinafem is one of the elite breeders/seed sellers of the world now... for autofem and female seeds.

each strain i try from dinafem seems to be a winner. nearly every seed being good enough for a keeper mom.
Moby Dick is great smoke when its the real deal and done right. the widow in it is indica enough to make it a great hybrid smoke. in fact most of dinafems widow mixes are amazing.

by the way... if u look up amnesia haze genetics its hard to find the real genes of it. im pretty sure what Soma says is the real genetics behind it tho. ive heard afghan x haze more than anything else tho. i know it says NL x haze on attitude but im convinced thats not accurate. they get a TON of the Spanish speaking comanies' strains wrong. Kannabia is completely WAY off, i had to ask them in an email and their breeder talked to me about it. if u goto the kannabia website its all different from attiudes...

ive only bought them via pick and mix. i wonder how good they get wen u buy a 10 pack and search for a keeper.

all the strains ive gotten from them were winners.
