Sorry it took me so long, I like everyone else seems to have forgotten about this thread. I came here to bitch about the weather, seems the NoMN boys gotta hard freeze coming tonight. Light frost possible here, either way I'm good since temps go waaayyyy up after tonight.

Anyways, your questions. I can piss across the Iowa border, that's all I feel comfortable saying. So the climate is a little nicer here than most MN growers have. They are Kodiak Gold x Aloha White Widow and were started on April 15 and went out May 9th. The soil is phenomenal, I mix in some minor soil conditioners and plant in full sun. I would say that this has been a very dry summer and these girls have had little rain and I have been doing alot of hauling every 5 days or so. They are about 2-3 weeks flowering now since flowering seemed to start later this year.

Overgrow you have the best minnesota grow I have seen to date! Looks exceptional! I found one strain this year that I plan for outdoors next year! The rest of my choices never made it to flower this year so they will certainly not be in the garden next year!

yeah its been cold and shitty here too! im about straight west of the twin cities and it froze once last week and got very close one night also, its been about 50-60 during the days and rather cloudy. my girls have really slowed down in bud production and im getting nervous that they wont have sufficient time to finish.

One has been flowering for about 4 weeks and another for about 3, my other 3 have just started last week so i know they are destined for hash.

Im really hoping for some pleasant weather!

Thanks for the compliments fellas. As far as colors go, yeah, the Mau Fresas are deeper purple with some neon pink hairs right now. I wish the pink hairs would stay through drying..... can we say "bag appeal" . Sure it won't though. It's a little nicer down this way, not a whole lot though. You can be down here bro, just come on down ! Houses you can own in the 20-30 k range all day long. Just be prepared to drive for everything, except for work if you're like me, lol. There's so many MN growers out there. Most are just really low-key and keep off of the net. This aint Cali where everyone can feel safe. So there's plenty of very nice grows in MN that simply never see the light of day....... so to speak.

Well, my forecast has me in the 70's tomorrow with some sun and by the end of the extended 10 day forecast I'm still at 68 degrees, so I'm happy with with where the weather seems to be going now. Most of my plants could go for another 3 weeks. If I get until October 10 (which is actually the first frost average the last three years), the big Kodiak's will be in the 1-2 lb range easy enough. Same with a large Krakatoa as well. Looking very promising.

There's one very heavy sativa influenced plant that I mislabeled (think it's an early Nevilles Haze) that really could use another 5 weeks and one very large Quasar from Buddha Seeds in the same boat. I couldn't believe how late it started flowering, damn near something like Sept 7th or so. Very disappointed since I see another 5 weeks happening like I see Favre coming back next year and winning the Bowl. Oh well, it's just more bud for my bubble bags or honey oil.

i really havent had any wind problems...im in like a small grove surrounded by poison oak and pine trees on one side and some nice poplars around the rest of it so i have a decent windbreak. its straight shitty here today, windy as hell and cold/rainy....im hopin to go take a cruise and check on the girls. be a perfect day for some trail riding on the ranger haha, nice and muddy! i think the people over towards duluth and as well as up north of where im at have been getting much worse weather than i have, good thing im not up there anymore. anyone besides OVERGROW and myself gonna post up some pics??

Ive finally got some pictures up, not the greatest pictures but its the best i could do with the lighting i had

This first picture is of one of my Short Riders, she has reacted drastically to the cold temperatures and has started producing purple buds along with a few purple leaves

076.jpg

This is a monster leaf off of my ATA tundra, this one has taken forever to start flowering, its only about one week in
080.jpg
This big girl is my northern lights blue, shes about 9 feet tall and probably 6 feet wide, she has tons of buds but they are quite small. shes maybe 3 weeks in

084.jpg

This is a crappy picture of a bud on my AK48, i think shes about 4 weeks in and about 9 feet tall. this one should be my big producer for the year

086.jpg

This girl here is my short fat short rider with the purple buds, only maybe 2 weeks into flower

074.jpg

This one is my AK48, that is a ten foot peice of pvc pipe for size refference, so shes about 9 feet tall and 4 weeks into flower, she smells sooo beautiful, just like wild grapes

072.jpg

Not much to say about this girl, short rider in a 3.5 gallon pot barely started flowering 4 feet tall......hash at best

088.jpg

This is a bud off of my ATA tundra plant maybe a week in if that

082.jpg

ATA Tundra, 6 feet tall only a week into flower, huge leaves and fat stalk and stems

Ahhh boy, I love it. Much needed rain the past few days and winds had me a little nervous. However, I went out this morning and all of the girls are very happy. No mold whatsoever on anything this year and sunny, warm, dry weather into October. Forecast is calling for 80 degrees mid next week ! Loving it. The Mau Fresas are leaning heavily with bud weight so I had to do a little propping around the base. Good times !

youre a lucky goose OG, mid 70's is as warm as its getting this week in my area. Although it beats what we had last week thats for sure.

Youre Buds are looking so nice, they are surely fatter than mine but im hoping we'll put on some weight this week with all the beautiful sunshine!

shit after them cold nights the last week i had to pull 5 of my smallest ladies, had them hanging since friday and been trimming here and there. only looking like itll be a few zips but thats fine, its super sticky and smells wonderful, the trichs were foggy when i harvested so the high should be decent, the taste is already getting fantastic :) i still got the 4 biggest that made it thru the cold and are still doing well and theyll stay out another week or 2 probably. damn hunting season is fast approaching as well so theres gonna be a lotta people runnin around the woods the next few weeks and i really dont feel like getting jacked haha.
