just caught up on this wannabe LP circle jerk of a thread, and this was the truest post.

90 days and counting, your palms must be starting to sweat..

meanwhile those "consultants" are probably spending
your 20k cheques on some MMAR kush from the weedman up the st. LOL

the blackmarket will prevail people, it's overgrown

Well this was a complete mind fuck. I am worried, but luckily haven't yet invested any money. I just don't see how submitting an application now will only take up to 10 weeks, when people who submitted their application in august of last year are still waiting. Can someone back me up on the progress of their application here?

four requests for more information. we will be going into construction / renovations within the next few weeks. we pretty much had all of our ducks lined up by the 2nd request for more information. we have a dedicated QA person, had our security company come in and assist with the design etc... and a great team all round to get things done. Between the 2nd request for more information we even went through a redesign of the facility to amend /increase the size of our vault....

Did all HC's 4 requests for more info come at the beginning of the review stage? Did you get requests near the end of the review stage? Would you expect us to receive requests for more info 3.5 months into review stage? Thank you so much for sharing what you have, we are beginning to get cabin fever over here. Congrats.

our time frame went something like this.

about 35 days after submission we received first set of about 15 questions. we responded within 3 weeks

next set of 53 questions came about a month later. given facility redesign we took about 4 weeks to respond this time

3rd set came 3 weeks later(13 questions) same day response
4th set (3 questions) 2 weeks later - same day response and within a week we had received our comfort / pre-construction letter

Thanks a lot, maybe we are going to hear from them with more questions.
For us we submitted then two weeks, two questions, respond in less than a week, confirmed they received info, not a word since.
Questions were bookkeeping and security, which were simple to answer well. We were a bit vague with both, our fault.
Is that good or bad in your opinion? This answer changes hourly for me personally.
We are going nuts with this shit. Back to waiting instead of whining, sorry.

And your ready for inspection, not just plans waiting for approval of plans?

If so Im not sure how I would be reacting in your situation.

We are licensing an existing MMAR facility which was built for two PUPL's.
Ready to build for us would mean adding a few cameras, beefing up some other existing security, and adding the memory/battery backup.
We also would do some finishing in our processing area, and some over all cosmetics.
We could be ready for inspection in under three weeks.
Shitting bricks is right.

good luck with your application. sounds like there is something more that HC isn't telling you. I hope not but we almost felt that way at one point and then I asked the person I was speaking with if we had any problems on our security side (re: personnel) and they wouldn't tell us that we were clear but did tell us that if there was a problem we would hear from their security consultants... but that if we hadn't heard at this point we were more than likely clear...

Well gee, I wonder what HC could be worried about....
-could it be that our name doesn't have a medical reference in it
-that we are tiny
-my hubby is the QAP
-we have country residential zoning
-no special training
-we come from the Kootenays, rumored to have the most MMAR licenses per capita.
-husband and wife witnessing the destruction? that's not good
-no docs, no lawyers, just a mom and pop, no PHD's
-not even a single Masters Degree in Botany
-Do they somehow already know we intend to show 100% naked buds on our website, before you sign up, (we might let them wear their sunglasses).
If Health Canada was dead I think we would make it roll over in it's grave.

Hi everyone! Ive been lurking on this forum for a few years and finally made an account. We're operating out of a 5000 sq. ft. building just outside of Winnipeg Manitoba and submitted the application last week. Should be an interesting year! Looking forward to getting more involved on the forum.
