MMPR Grow op: Small Scale

I thought it was because of BCs acceptance of the product allowing grows to exist easier.
I also thought that people in Ontario still believe BC product is the best, even if it's just a label.

Not an expert though.

The Toronto market has become more sophisticated over the last two years. There's no doubt Toronto is still way behind BC when it comes to variety of strains and concentrates. One thing has changed though, Toronto has seen better product from it's local growers and from BC. The market is developing a palate for better product.
Toronto used to be happy to get anything, we couldn't afford to be fussy.
Times are changing.
Hell you even have people asking for something other than PK now!
Are ya talking legally or illegally now?
Ya can't be on both sides of the fence eh ;)

I guess what I meant is I don't know why people in other provinces can't produce enough product without having to rely on shipping from BC. An indoor garden grows as well in Guelph,Ontario as it does in Nanaimo,BC and production cost would be the same...
It's not my area of expertise...I've just wondered why things are so much different in BC?
Ah gottcha...it's the same reason you don't see dispensaries operating in the open in Toronto. Law enforcement. In BC there is a much more relaxed attitude than in Ont.
Also, the population density is insane in SW Ont.
As an example...in conservative London ( population 350k ) we don't even have a 420 gathering!

I'm no expert either....lack of law enforcement for sure, and yes "BC" label is a factor too, not as much as the "kush" label though.

Bang on, this has been the case for a while now. SO tired of all the Kush strains....fellow smokers, can we please stop following the Americans down the path of Kush idiocy? Hundreds of amazing strains around and all anyone wants is "kush". Half the people demanding kush don't even know what it is and couldn't pick an OG out of a bud line-up.....it's just a buzz word to a lot of people at this point. The worst part of it is that a lot of people in my area now just refer to all medicine as kush, it's annoying as hell.

My first 3-4 years of growing, I didn't pop any seed with the word 'kush' in its name, it was glorious :)

Plenty of amazing Canadian strains, we should be celebrating those instead of copying our neighbours to the south.

Starting to think the elimination of level 5 and 6 is bullshit. Called Health Canada 3 times and got the same answer. NO have a call in to the big guy at HC and an email. Stay tuned.
