Mixing strains for butter

Hey guys and girls.

I have at my disposal 12-14 gs of sfv og , I also have a quarter of kush.



Is it a good idea to mix the strains when making the butter? Smoking two strains at a time has always been a bummer for me. I do not know if that would apply to eating , as this is my 2nd ATTEMPT trying to make butter for edibles.

Also I am debating on what amount of butter to use.

Would 500g of butter be very potent?



I have tried to make butter in the past... wasted a sexy half ounce when there was only bad bud around at the time...

all depends on how you react on medibles?

I mix all my trim in a large bag then make a large batch of oil.. it all reacts the same with me..

would be about 2 cups bit more.. I use recipes calling for about 1-1 1/2 cup to 8gs I would assume for most that would be about avg to above avg potency wise..

been experimenting with low and slow decarb methods since I have read this.. it's increased my effect time from 45-60 mins to 20-25 and longer effects from 1-4 hours orig now to 3-5 with the same amount used each time.. just different variations on the decarb time
