I am going to use 3/4 FFOF and 1/4 Light Warrior mix. How exactly do I mix the two? I know this is going to come off looking like im the dumbest person on the fn planet, but do I mix them together like a shake from Mcdonalds? LOLOLOLOL or do I just pour one amount in the pot, then the rest of the other soil im using on top of that? Thanks! EVerybody!! Mama said, they my magic legs, mama said they take me anywhere! LOL Damn im such a rookie! PEACE! P.S. If anybody knows of any other mix that uses FFOF, let me know please, I am open for suggestions. P.S.S I just want to stick with FFOF in some way, because I already bought that soil, and have the nutes for it. I am on a budget and dont want to start with two completely different soils rn. FFOF and promix is a good mix as well and as stated above i would add some dolomite lime too.
as far as mixing goes, take both parts and put them into a tub or something and reach in there and mix it up real good. OR you can dump both on a tarp and mix by hand or kick it around.

If I am using FFOF, LIght Warrior, and Dolomite lime, what would be a good ratio of all three mixed together? Basically how much of each soil should I use in my total mix. Thanks!!!! :O Could I also throw a little perlite in there too. Or would they be too many mixtures in one total soil??? BTW I am growing two girls each in a 3 gallon pot. My strain is PKA. ah perlite idk why i didnt mention that! you can use up to 50 of you mix as perlite and many people do. saves a little money and the plants love the extra room for its roots to breath. also pretty much makes it impossible to over water your plants although you'll probably have to water a little more often.
i would mix 2 parts fox farm, 1 part light warrior, 1 part perlite, and add the correct amount of lime as directed on the instructions. that would be IMO the PERFECT mix.

Put your soils in a container and reach to bottom of the container to turnover your mix. Best way to mix is by hand.......
Thanks drolove!!! I guess I will just mix all 4 of these by the lift, and turn method. After I have mixed it all together should I get the soil wet, before adding my seedling? and should I only water when the pot feels light, or stick my finger down two inches in the soil to see if its dry? P.S. I had a problem with overwatering before, and I dont want to make that same mistake again. Thanks!!!!

not a problem! and thats how i mix mine
water wet your soil in a pot before you add your seedlings, dont water the whole mix and only use some of it. only wet what you are going to use.
and yes water just like that, i use the finger method but its also obvious when it needs water by the weight as well. the pot will be quite a bit lighter when its thirsty.
and adding extra perlite to the mix will help save you from over watering as well. i like to use LOTS of it in my mixes.

miracle grow perlite works just fine and thats what i use myself. way cheaper its like 5 or 6 bucks a bag at lowes or home depot. think walmart has it as well.

Actually light warrior has plenty of perlite... I did straight ffof with a 1/4 of it light warrior..it drains good...but you could add more if you like a faster drain...i bought a trash can with a lid and i just work them in together with a cup of dolemite per cu ft of soil...
