Mixing lights

I have one 600 w blue and red LED that runs at 125 true wattage, and 1 1500 watt "sunlike" LED that pulls 280 true watts, is this combination OK? Mixing the sunlike with the blue an red?

depends on what stage you are in. You don’t need red spectrum really during veg stage. However during flowering you want a lot of red spectrum. Full spectrum which I’m assuming is your “sunlike led” is good for the entire grow. Some supplement red spectrum led with their full spectrum during flowering as well.

Mixing lamps with different spectrums won't harm your plants. The photons (light) from the two lamps will mix as they fall from the lamps towards your plants. It's the final spectrum that the leaves receive that the plants care about. Supplementing a BLURPLE (blue/red) light with another lamp that emits a balanced spectrum (including green) is always a good idea. I think everyone agrees by now that a lamp with only blue and red will be less appreciated by plants than a balanced spectrum.

I think adding another 280 actual watts to the 125 I have will be better than just the 1 280 watt by itself.
The only way it could hurt is if fitting in the lower power light off center your higher powered better spectrum light.. could result in uneven canopy dev. But if you can fit them in to where it distributes evenly then it will be beneficial

Therein lies the issue without it I need another one of those 1500 watt lights, my wife will kill me if I spend any more money on this lol

What size is your grow area and how many plants are you currently running?
only 2 plants right now in a 4x3x2 inside a tent, my light which claims 600 watts only pulls 125 watts, the light i have coming pulls 280 w. Together I figured that's 405 +/- 2 or 3%. I guess being in a small area and the mylar reflective lining should mix the light well enough until I get another 1500.

You mean 2x3x4 right ? Length x width x height , I would hope you aren’t growing in a 2 foot tall tent lol. Assuming it is a 2x3 , 280 watts should be more than enough for the entire grow . Rule of thumb is about 32 watts per foot square , obviously more is better . At 6 square feet you are at about 46 watts per square foot which is actually very very good, you could easily get away with just your 280 true watt LED

Yes it is 4 ft tall, lol it's actually 5 ft long, 4 ft high and 2 ft wide but I have it sectioned off for a smaller grow area because i didn't have enough light to cover the entire area. My first auto is already in preflower and she's tiny. I'm having humidity issues now can't get it out of the low 30s, I can see humidity is going to be an issue, probably going to have to find a humidifier now.
