Okay so I have been having a spider mite problem for awhile and it doesnt matter what I do it just happens and I cant get rid of no matter what....So lately I have just been using my fingers to wipe the leaves every night in veg. And for the first couple weeks of flower if I see anything and have been having better success than just using spray.Whats your opinion?

I guess if you only have a few plants that's cool. but those little buggers can multiply quickly. if you do just use your fingers make sure you get under the leaves where they live. and if you decide to spray do it now before the plants flower.

If you are having a persistent problem, then I'd guess that your grow environment is conducive to spider mites. Basically, they love hot and dry conditions so you can make it more inhospitable for them by lowering temp and raising humidity. That will not do it by itself since you already have mites so you'll need to spray to get rid of them too. Get something like a hudson sprayer so you can easily get the spray all over the plant - undersides, everywhere..most sprays if you don't touch them you don't kill them. You usually need to spray every 2 to 3 days for about 3 times as typically the sprays kill only the mites and not their eggs which hatch about every 2 - 3 days.

azamax is a good control option and great preventative maintenance . You need a 3 part kill program meaning three different types of sprays and spray on schedule. Me, I juss use the heavy stuff and kill them all and then preventative with azamax. you gotta do what you gotta do and sometimes it isn't the organic way unless you just want to play around with them. Once they are all gone and dead, Preventative is the key.
