First port of call is to identify which pests you have.

Some people have soil mites and assume spider mites.

So what mite do you actually have?

Got any pics as I can help identify. (Arm chair entomologist here)

I will try and get a pic when lights come on!! Thank you. I just found them last night. I saw white spots on lower fan Leaves looking through a magnifying glass they seemed to be black tiny bugs. I will find a better way to identify them today

Usually, every year I help people save between 20 - 40 plants from spider mites, but this summer I have saved well over 100 so far. Anyway, there are many way to kill a spider mite problem, but if you have a full blown infestation, then doing a vinegar n' water dunk is the only way to kill them all and all their eggs in just a few minutes! You need to use 32 parts water to 1 part white vinegar. I use (2) 40 gallon 4ft blue plastic drums, that always stay in my truck, and I fill both with 32 gallons of water, then in one I add a gallon of white vinegar. then I bag up the pot using a big trash bag and masking tape to tape the bag closed around the main stalk, then I flip the plant over and dunk it in the vinegar n' water solution for 45 seconds, then I pull it out and wait a few minutes, then I repeat the 45 second dunk again, then after that I dunk the plant in the other drum of water for around a minute, then I flip them right side up and place them where I have two to four fans lightly blowing on them to dry them out, and believe me, after you did that, your spider mite problem will be No More!

Spider mites are often the result of poor nutrition and or culture. Spider mites will not be found on thriving plants.

Could have just sprayed them with a citric acid solution a couple times spaced apart.
Have you tried that? And did you mix it with 50/50 ISO water? I've been reading about it. I thought about spraying some on my houseplants next time I see any pests since I have a big bag of it. The ISO is harder to come by now with the COVID shit.

Dude that was a waste. You could have easily saved those plants. I’ve literally gotten rid of spider mites by having my chickens eat them.

No offense, but the best thing you can do when you start over is learn not to freak out so easily. Jesus.

Yes I've used citric acid solution and yes it works. It's the active ingredient in several commercial products. It's also eco-friendly which is a requirement for anything I spray on my plants or use in the garden.
