:leaf:YO WAT DOES MISTING UR PLANTS/BUD WIT WATER WHILE GROWING DO? :leaf:
well, it's advised not to mist plants during the flowering stage when there's fat buds hanging, because it can bring mold. during the seedling and vegetative stage mist away, makes the environment cooler and brings the humidity up, which is great!

i honestly love misting. its pretty much a routine for me just as brushing my teeth or washing my face would be....Lowers the temp in teh room, makes the plants grow faster? and look prettier.. i put a little epsom salt in my water(not much)...for shits and giggles?

ok but i disagree with this thread in the tretrospect about the chance it has of bringing mold.... right now its a beautiful sunny day but its dry outside... about 80 degrees and 15% RH... my room generally takes on the RH of outside and its one of those rare dry days... I have misted my plants multiple time today to get RH above 10% and I don't think i have to worry about bud rot or mold froming... its so damn dry they loved the mist, even if it is flower...

what about a humidifier during flowering? would it have the same effect as misting or since its not directly spraying would there be no chance of bud rot and mold?

Nutramist suggests using their ultrasonic nebulizers (fog makers) for direct foliar feeding. I guess the tiny micron size of the drops lets the leaves absorb the nutrients/hormones/amino acids/whatever very easily.
You could probably get away with that as long as the RH wasn't really high.
Seems like an awesome idea to me.

I mist my vegging girls several times a day. It cools them off and helps clean any dust off the leaves. I also mist my flowering girls about every other day but not when lights are due to go out. I have never had bud rot. It rains outside on flowering plants. I try to follow mother nature as much as possible cause let's face it NOONE can grow like mother nature.
