Hello again Guys and Girls, well since my 'MISSING' from Eva seeds did nicely i am bringing you documentation of her (2nd generation) Clones in a SoG style Grow under the same 250w HPS.

So, i initially took 16 Clones from 2 motherplant Clones which came from the Original plant i flowered out in the other thread.
I took the Clones really small, i figured i would need to have them in veg for a couple of weeks before i switch them to 12/12. They looked like this..

View attachment 2318462 20120801161512.jpg those pics were taken as soon as the Clones were put into Pellets and then they went into the Propogator.

After 12-14 days in the pellets they were showing Roots so they were put under 15w LED for another few days to make sure they had a good solid Root structure.

(Lost 2 of them after Potting and also 2 were stunted, so down to 12)

At 3 weeks old they were potted into 15cm pots with Soil, switched to 12/12 and looked like this..

Today at 4 weeks old they look pretty healthy..

20120902183319.jpg 20120902183439.jpg 20120902183522.jpg I just woke them up and took those pics then watered, thats why they look sleepy. lol

Very nice. Good job on showing and explaining the progress. When you cut a mother plant for a clone, do you take it from the bottom, top, randomly around the plant? Recently I trimmed the bottom branches to help with circulation of air and made 14 clones(lost 2). The others are just getting roots, standing erect and green.

For this Sog i had 2 clones in veg from the Initial Plant, i let those 2 Clones get a little bigger before stripping them of 8 x Clones per plant. This is why these are 2nd Generation.

The Tops of the plants have the 'Thickest Stem' and seem to root more easily but basically i take Clones from the Tops and the Side Branches. I have succesfully rooted a part of branch after cutting the end from it, it was a mid section branch and only had one little leaf when i dipped it in Hormone gel. Now it has become a 'tied down 4 topped window Specemin'. lol

Ok, afew days later and the clones all crowned Off in the last 36hrs, my Interpretation of Crowning Off is the plant's Top becomes a Bud with a small amount of bud leaf. It happened after a few days Spurt of Veg growth, You can see this in the pictures here..

20120904200752.jpg 20120904200813.jpg ..

It was Amusing because the Mother Plant showed her Pistils at the Exact same time over that 36hr period, here's a pic..

20120904201002.jpg she would be worthy of another run of clones Look ..>>>> 20120904201356.jpg .. LOL..

She was topped and trained as you can see for Clones and she has served her purpose and will now Flower out under a mere 125 CFL in the small Closet. :p

I almost feel like pulling pout the 400w MH but i am determined to keep costs minimal at this point. ;) Maybe next time.

here's a pic of a Clone and the MP for Comparison.. 20120904201552.jpg.. heh, who do you think will yield more?? ;)

Here's another couple of the Clones, 'Crowning Off' as i call the end of the Stretch and the beginning of Budding.

20120904201905.jpg 20120904201851.jpg They have a nice little Christmas Tree Structure and looking pro'MISSING'!!

I MADE A FUNNY!! LOL :bigjoint:

L33...really looking good. Photo #4 should be a heavy girl when she is done. What's that called? I am dying to try it, maybe next grow. I saw a finished plant, somewhere in RIU, with 4 huge, long honkin colas.

All looking nice and healthy. Looks like they've sized for their environment perfectly(or rather you flipped them at the perfect time, don't won't to take away any credit from you). I really did expect them to get too much for the tent.

Maybe I'll have a run like this just before xmas, and see what comes out :)

Well, here we are a Week later, the Clones are bushing out and it looks like i have a little farm of Xmas Trees. LOL

They got a little burned as i added Nutes, but 'FAILED' to take thier Small size into consideration.
Remember people, smaller plants will use much less Nutes than the same Strain in Bigger Pots/Larger Scale.

So, here are a few updates pictures that i just took..

I cannot believe that many plants are doing so well under one 250w, i'm def going for this soon. I love the fact there is hardly no gaps in the canopy and the entire 2x2 has been used. Def the way head with smaller tents i'm thinking.

Good work sir!

Well it has been a couple of weeks now and i thought it was about time i got the camera back out and took a couple of pictures of this MISSING SOG..

So here we are after 4 weeks of Flowering they are ALL starting to Sugar Up and they are ALL approx 38cms Tall.

20120926180357.jpg 20120926180344.jpg 20120926180146.jpg 20120926180114.jpg

Now i just gotta look after these Girls and get them to Fatten Up over the next 5 weeks or so ;)

Here's a pic of the MISSING Clones and also i have managed to fit in the 2 Mother Plants to Flower out with the 12 SOG..

20120926180108.jpg 20120926180206.jpg 20120926180212.jpg.. I know, i know, the Mothers are looking yellow and need some Feeds.. :p LOL

Actually they got overfed and had to be flushed, they have just got over it now and i am about to give them a dose of Bio-Bloom Nutes 2.0-6.0-3.5 that should cheer them up a little.

The smell in the Tent today also has changed from 'fresh cut grass' to 'Elephants piss' so thats a good sign. LOL

I will update with more pictures soon but this is looking like a promising effort. :weed:

Here's an update as to how the Clones are coming along..

They are coming along now but it seems to be taking forever for them to start those buds fattening out, maybe coz i check them everyday so i don't see the growth so much.. but also with this strain i noticed it was growing in Bursts last time and these last 3 weeks could show me substantial results, fingers crossed.

Also, what should be noted is at this point i changed the 250HPS to a 300w LED Panel. I hope i get the results i'm expecting.

Recently I trimmed the bottom branches to help with circulation of air and made 14 clones(lost 2).
cervantes suggests against doing that, at least in full sunlight as it deprives plants of energy making potential and only strips leaves when they're fully dead. he has a funky random video series that's 3 parts i think you can watch on youtube. i like his books better though.

Hmmmnnnn.. 'Lollipopping' is a method used by many growers. Maybe george was wrong or needs to be more specific :eyesmoke:

Cervates has been rong in many of his ideas of how he thinks it should be! Like anything you read in a book or elsewhere
you should take it with a grain of salt!

lolliepoping is key to sog either zero veg or with a few weeks of vegs. Looking goog L33 keep up the good work

Thanks HR, i will have more updated pics in a few days for you all, i'm guessing about 3 weeks left until i harvest.

I'm still anxious as to the change i have done from 250 HPS to the 300w LED. Time will tell, i guess. :weed:

Damn, it's been a while since i have been on here, as far as the LED panel goes i did not like it at all and it was removed from the Tent after the Clones were finished.

Speaking of which i will add pictures of the finished grow soon (sorry for the delay)

Ok people here are the finished Clones after almost 11 weeks of Flowering. (The Mother took 10wks and 1 day until harvest).

They had a pretty rough ride of things and these girls were by no means an Easy Run, i ended up overfeeding them and having to give them a Full Flush Mid-Flower and they never seemed to fully recover, therefore this run did not reach my expectations in terms of Yield, just under 5 ounces dry. I had expected 6 < oh well we learn everytime we grow eh.

Here's the Final pics before harvest:
