mirrors absorb more light than they reflect...

mylar, or panda plastic (black/white poly) are you're best bets... or flat white paint...

MOST mirrors should have a 70% light transmission coefficient. However, most CHEAP mirrors have about a 50% LTC, which means 50% of the light is absorbed, as heat.

This ain't good. Use white paint or mylar, as stated above.

Now, some expensive Front transmission mirrors can have up to 99% LTC, which would be amazing. But, expect to pay a bundle for it.

The main reason not to use mirrors is because they absorb the red and blue spectrums of light, transmitting only the green. Pot plants can not use green light. I made the same mistake early on and built a small grow room entirely lined with mirrors.
