whoaaaa, ok i am new here, BUT i READ in these forums that the last month of flowering you are not supposed to use ANY nutes, ie natural flushing....I use coco/ie grow coir, coconut fiber based soil wit a small amount of potting soil mixed in....i also use 1/2 strength miracle grow everytime i water once a week, and my plants love it....only prob i had in my grow was when i screwed up the dam ph and made it too low...with my water 7.0-6.8 is a good ph since my coco has a ph of 5.8 to 6.2, i use the miracle grow houseplant all purpose stuff, but when i go to flower i will be using ionic bloom and boost, then no nutes lol..I don't think taste will suffer, if ya don't use any nutes the last month of flowering, at least from what i read here
Most strains you only flower for 8 weeks, that is half the cycle.
You know how much money on nutrients I would save if that was true?

can I use organic ferts with MG ? and what is a good local store brand fert for flowering? like something at Wal mart. Let me know, I have MG fertz and I was wondering If i can use that for flowering..
Next time I will use MG organic potting mix with MG organic fertz or another organic fert that I saw.. But with organic fertz do I need to get one type for veg and another for flowering too?

Ive been converted to better fertilzers. the soil wont be bad. I used it to start my grow when i was new at it, but you can get black gold soil for the same price at most places that you buy MG and its quite a bit better!

also, I wouldnt use MG fertilizers. especially not for flowering. they seem to have NPK ratio issues Ive noticed. I got the technaflora recipe for success starter kit. it has everything you need to grow from start to finish with directions on how to feed. google it. its about $29 for a bunch of stuff. well worth the expense.

:blsmoke:yea, i am new, and my plants are young, still in veg, so i figure i will use MG houseplant 1/2 strength, till i start to see ill effects...my soil is grow coir, ie coco fiber, with a lil bit of store bought stuff mixxed in...but i got the ionic grow nutes, they are formulated for coco fiber, so when my plants start looking dank i will be swappin out nutes...however, i am sorry, but MG houseplant is workin good so far, and i am day 30...as far as the bloom well, i will be prolly adding nutes and reading the forums...i read one month off, but who knows...my strain is indica, i will have to play it by research:DHell, i have yet to get my bloom room set up, so i got alot to learn, but i gota say, growing is sooo much funbongsmiliedon't hate, appreciate lmao,:blsmoke:

i dont know your lower leaves are a little to yellow for veggie state,,and your plants arent that big and bushy especially for an indica,,u need more lights plain and simple.. Yellow leaves are a sighn of a deficiancy usually your not giving it proper nutes,my leaves dont yellow like that until my budds are forming and sucking life from the plant

yea, you are right...miriacle grow houseplant in any amount is BAD NEWS the reason is is because like the other poster said, the nitrogen ratio is alll baaad...they get way to much of it, and that is what was yellowing my leaves. After reading on this forum, and comparing plants with my buddy who grows, I have seen the light and will NEVER use MG again:D However, if you want a great fert that is great for starting out and cheap, get to walmart or whatever and get some shultz plant food...it costs about 4 bucks a bottle, has the rite nute mix, and plants grown on it kick ass:) I am using ionic nutes for soil, coco fiber, and my plants are slowly but surely getting rid of the miracle grow poison

My one outdoor plant is in a 30gal rubbermaid tote that's filled with half Miricle Organic soil and half perlite. That seems to be working out fine for me. I use soilless mix that's 50-50 coco and perlite set to ph 5.8 and advance nutrients iguana juice inside though.

the miracle grow flower boost works great. The blue sand mixes in your water and fertilizes also, a good supplement to fert. is superthrive(walmart, lowes, ect.)
