F**k miracle grow and the horse she rode in on.... lol, for growing flowers, tomatoes, or whatever else, that's fine, use all that chemically formulated ammonium nitrate, but if you really want to treat MJ properly, your best bet is to go with a 2 or 3 part "hydro" type fertilizer system such as fox farms, floranova, GH, advanced nutrients, etc. i know it's a little pricey, but if you sit there and grow for 3 or 4 months and end up with a crap plant cause you didn't feed it right ur gonna be sad you wasted your time. Miracle grow will grow buds, but it's not formulated for these plants. All "hydro" type feritlizer are designed for soil/hydro and give you instructions on how to use for both. The FBI isn't gonna flag you for ordering it, so if you can afford it, go that route. If not, you need to get the miracle grow that's designed for tomatoe plants (i used this for vegetative growth when i was a newb)... then when you switch to flower you can switch to some stuff called "superbloom" miracle grow does make some like this, but i'd steer away from them if you can. superbloom is usually like 12-52-12 so you get some heavy P for the flowering. goodluck with the grow, and get away from miracle grow, you'll be glad when you do, yes it does work, but so does pissing in the sink, doesn't mean you should do it! =)

I do 2 tsp of GrowBig and 2 tbsp of BigBloom. For flowering I do 2 tsp of TigerBloom and 1 tbsp of BigBloom. Never mix concentrates together, always add to water. You can find a feeding schedule on their website also. My feeding scheduele will not burn. WATER-FEED-WATER-FEED.

you also shouldnt use rain water. rain water can carry pathogens and has many impurities in it. you are better off using tap water that has sat out over night and has been properly phed for your desired medium of choice.

natural spring water would be the best choice in my eyes.

im only growing the 1 super skunk plant will i need 2 tbs?? or should i half that??

Fox Farm trio is meant to be a 2 part fertilzer.

GrowBig: 2 teaspoons w/ 2 tablespoons of BigBloom per gallon.

TigerBloom: 2 teaspoons w/ 1 tablespoon of BigBloom per gallon.

I start clones on this right after rooting. For seedlings I feed 2 tablespoons per gallon at 2 weeks. I don't start using GrowBig till 3 weeks in.

I took what you wrote above to mean that while your plants are in the vegetative growth stage Fox Farms says use Grow Big AND Big Bloom at the same time?

Was I correct or was I mistaken to believe that is what you said?

If so I would be curious where you learned that information because on the back of a bottle of Big Bloom it says; "Directions: Begin application when plants have reached their peak of vegetative growth and are starting to show first signs of flowering."

According to what it says on the back of a bottle of Big Bloom you would not use Big Bloom until the very end of a vegetative growth stage.

And if someone waits to see pre-flowers that will mean a vegetative growth stage period of time that is longer than some or many growers use because they only veg to a certain height and that can and often times is earlier in growth than pre-flowers will show up while the plant is in its vegetative growth stage.
