becareful with that mg
i have read so many theard about nute burn with it ..
if you have a few plants use one as a tester
start off at the most 1/8 strength

i would stay away from it. it is made with nasty stuff. finish this one iff and stay low on the nutes, no nutes if it is mg soil also

with 14 buck you aren`t going to be able to do much. i would just spend it all on good soil, some bone meal and blood meal, those are probably the cheepest way to go. or no nutes at all you will probably be better off.
you probably dont have a ph tester and if so i wouldn`t touch the nutes. no ph tester just the soil, vermiculite and perlite

your ph will drop and your soil will salt up and cause it to lock up and kill the plant. try it if you want

I think the only way to safely use mg potting mix is to start your seeds in rockwool cubes inside the soil. I have read that each time you water it the nutes release. I have a struggling masterkush that is suffering from nute burn right now due to this I think. Both of these were planted the same day, so judge for yourself!!

i used a pinch with my compost and it seems to be going fine, but i think your right since the granuels are pretty dry when they get wet or the plants get watered they must release nutes over and over.

there is little balls in the soil that are loaded with nasty chemicals and when you water them yes they release nutes. usualy more than is needed that is why it salts up, and people feel the need to add more themselves

I'd say with a budget like that just use it, it'll work, but use nothing until you have a ph test kit and until the plant is mature enough not to die so easily if you overdo it.

But maybe you should wait until you're old enough like so many of us here did because THC can fry your brain like eggs in a pan if you're too young. Just like those commercials have proven. :)
