Miracle Grow Question

Alright this is my very first time trying to grow. I've seen people in the past do it around me. I have a quick question I bought 3 bags of miraclr grow soil/compost I mixed one 30lb bag of that with NPK of 9-4-5 with my top soil from my backyard where I grow vegetables. Is this OK to use since I've mixed it with other soil. At least through veg stage?

If your growing outdoors, you should be fine with that mix.

If your growing indoors, you dont want to bring outdoors soil inside without cooking it to kill bad bacterias/microbes/pests.

And you also dont want to use MG products indoors unless you have the organic stuff. The non organic uses time release fertilizers that can end up becoming super concentrated in your soil, with no way to flush the soil (as water releases more ferts) if need be.

Alright thanks I think I'll just start them in this and buy some foxfarm in a week or 2 when I'm ready to transplant and bring inside.

I figured since I mixed it with alot of my yard soil that the nitro would be fine for veg and maybe flower it only feeds for 3 months instead of the potting soil at N25 and 6month. I would say the nitro mixed with mine would cut the MG nitro time release in half

Gonna try this new mg organic stuff and cee how it works, just for the hell of it...
I despise MG stuff, and always have. Aside from my personal bias, I have read posts by very experienced growers who are also anti-MG say that the MG Organic is of actual good quality and they'd consider using it after they fully and carefully reviewed the product.

I plan on eventually doing a comparison grow with MG Organic vs my normal Sunshine Mix #4 and see what kind of yield difference I get.

Working on finding solid phenos to keep as mothers first though so I have a solid baseline to compare the MG with... but just looking at ingredients list, it should be pretty good stuff

I'm in that same boat about MG as well, but I decided to give them a day in court...
