your plants were in the ground right if so start at half strength but bring it to just about full the big end of the spoon for each gallon i used it with no probs a few years back and it did the trick

I've only been using the small end of the spoon for one gallon but it says for outdoors to use the bigger spoon. What do you guys think? Can the plant take a couple or more of small spoons for one gallon?

you really gotta read you plants with this stuff if it looks like the amount your giving is doing good then dont change it no need to overdue with mg same for you jswett little at a time work your way up till you see it responding well you may not even need to take it all the way to full strength just dont overdue it and you will be on your way to fat frosty nugs

LESS= better.. use like 1/4 stregth and bring it up to 1/2 .
I started with half the small end for two weeks. This morning I did the whole small end. Believe me...I'm doing it slooowwwly lol. I much prefer organic water only grows, but Im running an experiment.

i would really recommend you not use the BIG scoop unless you have big trees.......I can't even go full strength on my 3ftx3ft plants with the small scoop without getting a little bit of leaf tip burn.

yeah i think im going to be good my plants close too 4 feet haha
so are a few of mine.....I still wouldn't use the big scoop.....you will end up with a plethora of problems.....and if they are in the ground it will be really hard to "flush" the excess nutrients out of the dirt. I just don't want you to crisp up your leaves....Miracle Gro is VERY strong stuff

Well yea everyones right pretty much.. MG can be dangerous shit.. I would advise against using it but if you do just use at a really low dose and you should be fine. I decided like a dumbass to experiment and use some MG nutes on a plant this year.. I used an eighth of a dose and it burned the shit out of the plant. It ended up being a male anyway lol..

Imagine if you hadn't used any - you might have stressed it out, lol :)

OP, I use Miracid (30-10-10) sometimes in veg and they seem to tolerate it well and really grow big. I'm afraid to use non-organics during flowering but may consider giving it a shot or two. Let me know how goes!

How long have you been using miracle grow, FF?
since May......now I am feeding twice a week......I have only had one problem with it when I used it on seedlings at 1/2 strength....I now know to only go 1/4 strength on seedlings and bump it up with time.
