Minimum depth for a Bubbler setup?

Just as the title asks: what would the minimum depth be for a bubbler setup for say 6-8 plants, SOG style? I've heard 18 inches for a sprayer/mister setup, but really want to maximize vertical space while still going hydro. Thanks in advance! :peace:

Drugs Taught Me Metric!
Anyone done a DIY bubbler setup? Thoughts on this? Anyone with experience?
Check out my Grow journal at the bottom of this post. I am doing a smaller Hydro Bubbler setup in my dresser.... will be starting another in a small Veg Cab soon using Mini Hydro Bubbler. I had 4 plants, I pulled 2 just the other night but they were growing fine with plenty of room left. My Res. Tote dimensions are 15"w x 19"l x 7"d. I have 2 - Whisper 60-80 Gallon Air Pumps hooked to 2 - 8" Air stones. My Res. Tank is sprayed with glue and wrapped with foil to keep light out. I am using 5 1/2" Pots. You will have to watch your plants a little more closely, especially in flowering. Another BIG factor depends on how big you will let these get. If your concerned about your Res. Tank height I could only assume your plants will not be very tall either. You will need to "top" your Res Tank more often or do what I like to do and Let the plants drink until there is a couple inches left in the Res.. then just dump it out and mix them up a new batch with new Fresh nutes. Some people see this as a hassle however for the more "involved" you can think of it as giving your plants Fresh, Correctly balanced N-P-K, water more often. If you do not "top" your Res. Tank with plain water your N-P-K ratio's can get surprisingly messed up... Plus if your like me, you like spending the time with the kids. All-in-All, you don't need a HUGE Res. Tank for smaller plants however the more room is better. Good Luck, hope this helps

ya dude bubbler is the way to go.

easy to build and maintain, plus you get super fast growth and fat buds... but it takes tinkering with to get the right water conditions(PPM,PH can swing if you don't watch it close) in your perticular set up.

the depth really is dependant on size of plants. you could do small 1 foot clones in a 6 inch container.
