Mini-Perpetual Grow

Smoking on my Amherst while deciding what plants to keep.

The Amherst clones are super healthy and strong! I need to re-pot them, but have no room in my veg area! With this mini-perpetual grow, I could easily double or triple my output with just purchasing some more lights. Too bad I have no room in my house to expand. :(

In my flowering area, I have about 2 weeks left on my Trainwreck (not my favorite strain, buds are always 'popcorn'ey' for me), and at 2 1/2 weeks into flower, on the right is my original Amherst mother looking as good as ever!

I have to say, Amherst is one of my favorite strains to grow. Good bud size, good high and smells great. It is a great plant to make a few extra bucks and share with people. ;)

5 more clones go in the fog bucket today.

Had to say goodbye to one of my mother plants today due to lack of space. :(

I now have 11 plants in rotation, but only flower two at a time a month apart.

Nice one man, shame the mother had to go did you keep some clones from her? do you clone many so you can select the strongest clone to flower? Thanks for the updates really enjoying your thread:)

PigTrotter, that is exactly what I do. ;)

I am still cloning my Amherst, but stopped cloning my Trainwreck because I simply don't like the strain. Trainwreck is a decent smoke, but I need a strain with a little more weight.

I do keep the strongest clones and when it is time to get another 'candidate' ready to fill a spot in the grow area, I start weeding out the weak.

In one week the Trainwreck gets harvested. She is not looking too big, I will be surprised if I even get 1/2 a zip. She is looking sparkly though. That is ok though! Some strains don't agree with my style of growing and my environment. o_O

But the Amherst sour diesel is a strong smoke and I am pretty satisfied with her and will be cloning her exclusively for the next 6 months at least.

In the meantime, I will just grind up another gram or so and bongsmilie.

I got a tad over a zip from my poor Trainwreck plant. The poor thing had a rough life because of a few mistakes I had made. Even though her life was less than optimum, her smoke, the smoke in my lungs right now, is very potent...way more potent than my Amhurst. I will honor her with her clones and keep her legacy going.

In a place where you have to stay deep underground to grow, I feel very 'valuable'. Tonight I am entertaining some friends and what you see in the photo is a rare sight on this side of the world and to be able to provide this gives an amazing feeling.

Bong or joint?

I always feel a little Space Dandy after harvesting.

A light harvest this month, only weighing in at 39g.

The high is definitely a Space High. ;)

Hey all.

Just felt like sharing my Mini-Perpetual Grow.

I grow 100% organic and in Smart Pots.

My Amherst Sour Diesel is 34 days in flower. She is in a 3g Smart Pot and is happy as can be. She loves my homemade fertilizer of dried banana peels and eggshells. I also have dolomite lime and chicken manure mixed in there. I feed her organic molasses and fish emulsion every 7-10 days.

I have two Amherst Sour Diesel and one Trainwreck clones growing in my veg space along with a Trainwreck mother that will be thrown under my ProGrow 160 LED light when my Amherst is finished. They are under an 85w CFL running a 24/7 cycle with a little fan blowing on them.

I average 45g a plant. It would be more, but the heat and humidity here make growing very difficult.

Thanks for letting me share. :)
what are the dimensions of your space?

great pics!!!!

Hey thanks ZoBudd. bongsmilie

My flowering area is around 2 square feet and my veggin' area is the area underneath my 85w CFL.

Right now in my veg area I just have 2 clones growing. I need to slow down, growing way above my ability to smoke it all! ;)

About 3 to 3 1/2 weeks left on my girl on the right.

Sorry for the fuzzy pic, LED's always mess with the focus.

She is showing characteristics now that her mother had and I got 2 1/2 zips off her, hard not to get a tad excited about that. ;)

But no expectations, I already have enough weed to last me for 6 months of daily smoking. bongsmilie

With this second plant, it brings my total to 206 grams since the first harvest.

Not bad. ;)

How many plants do you have at a time and veg in flower

Hey superloud. :)

Right now, I only have 2 plants vegging because I my veg room light just burned out...

Normally my process is:
Grow 2 mothers.
Take 8 of the best clones.
Take the 4 best clones from those 8.
Flower the 2 old mothers.
Clone from the 2 out of the best 4 clones.
Rinse and repeat.

I have had 11 plants going at one time, but have always only flowered 1-2 at a time due to space and I have enough smoke for my very small circle here. :)

Having a few friends over tonight. bongsmilie

These are my curing jars. Each jar is at a different stage in the curing process. The jar in the back left has been curing for over 7 months. That was my first girl I grew with this mini-perp grow.
