Heres the problem, this winter ive noticed that i am getting these spots on my plants and the leaves are turning yellow then brown then die off.... my other harvest had the same issue. Im seeing what looks like fungi nats, or nats none the less in the soil,im told they are fungus flies??? im at a loss, dont wanna loos this crop, wanna clone these babies for future "use"

well here are the pics, all suggestions will be great....

Leaves will drop of if you don't maintain a decent temp if its cold,i use a small oil filled radiator in my space with a thermostatic control to make sure this doesn't happen in the winter.
It is unusual for gnats to about in the winter though.
Your soil looks a bit to wet as well.

If you put some trays of molasses around they will go to the trays of molasses instead of your plants soil and obviously never be able to get out again.
You need to mix the molasses with a lil bit of water ever day or so to keep it runny enough to trap the flys.
I killed all of my gnats with this trick as eventually there are none left.

If you want to be extra vigilant pick up the wet pots and look around the top of the soil as larvae have to come up to the top or down to the bottom pot holes to breathe if you flood the soil and using a pin stab any lil worms you see.
Gnats larvae eat the roots and are especially harmful to seedlings:blsmoke:

that looks a lot like mag. deficiency it says to use 1 tables spoon of epsom salt per gallon of water or next time mix two tablespoons of dolomite lime per gallon of soil

I used a mosiquito dunk to control fungus knats. It takes about three weeks for it to work, but the results were great.

Could be a Mag prob. Get some epsom salts and see if that does the trick.

Hank.
