MIDNIGHT FARMS CLONES - WHO'S GROWN THEIR CLONES?

Hi yall, just got 48 clones of Blueberry x Cookies, 16 Mendo Breath, and 32 Sunset Sherbet from Midnight Farms Clones. Wondering who out there has acquired clones from Midnight Farms directly or through Harborside, Elemental, etc. What strains did you get from them (that are Midnight Farms cuts) and how was the yield and potency of these strains, also did you do hydro or soil, organic or non organic? Just wondering what I have to look forward to. Im growing indoor, 6 1000 watt XXXL Magnum hoods, eye hortilux bulbs roots original soil, 5 gallon pots, roots master feeding schedule, AACT. Going to start a journal on my grow in the next couple of days on here. I transplanted them into the room 4 days ago straight into 5 gallon pots. Took them a little while to recover from the heavy watering in.

it is so easy to clone just buy on clone or two and make em mothers and start cloning. question have you cloned before. it can be a little tricky if your a beginner cloner but it will get easier and you will get very successful

i tried sprayheads 360 degree, rockwool, peat, and found i like dwc with a 10 watt grow cfl for my clones the best easiest laziest most successfull way i do it. also use clonex gel and the clonex spray. but have had others work fine.

I've done plenty of cloning and have bought clones from many dispensaries around the state(Cali). This post was to find anyone out there who had got clones from Midnight Farms Nursery, they give clones to Harborside, Elemental Wellness, A Therapeutic Alternative, and 2 other dispensaries that I know of. Was just trying to see if anyone on here had gotten clones from them and what their results were.

It is not easy to clone. If it was easy for you then you had a strain that was a no-fail kind of plant. Try pure sativa and see how easy it is.

Does anyone have experience taking cuttings from a pure Sativa strain? I am having a hell of a time getting even one cutting to show ANY roots, from 30 I have taken from a dozen plants, all from 20 yr old Sativa seeds that I have been vegging for going on two months now.

The moms or dads are all vigorous, would easily grow to 6-7 feet if I didn't top, crop, fim, tie down, or other wise spread the canopy. They look great, green, no kind of pests, parasites, or other nasties.

I have had many suggestions from other forums but no one has tried to clone a pure Sativa plant.

If you have, please advise what you are doing. I do know that all these methods do not produce even one clone from a cutting: Octo-cloner w/ heat mat to raise Water temp to 85 w/air stone bubbler; rockwool adjusted Ph; Rooting plugs; Organic soil; vermiculite; warm wet sand; perlite; perlite/vermiculite; willow bark tea; Hormex, Great White; Olivia's, and Clonex.

Any help from Sativa owners much appreciated.

Ah, I haven't gotten my clones from midnight nursery. The dispensary where I got my cuts from sell Advanced Blu Clones from King Klone Brand...

4nikator - I hope to do a thorough video on how I clone in the next 8 months. The plan is to use a time lapse camera and document the entire cloning process without any pauses. However, some video equipment is still needed. Good luck man!

I've seen more videos in the last 60 days that my eyes are ruined. I don't know that any method will clone a Sativa in any volume. This strain seems to be very very reluctant to see itself reproduced from other than seed. And seed for pure sativa is impossible to find. I'm glad I have these plants but if I don't soon get clones, the strain will die out. I'm even hoping for an extended summer so that they have a chance to finish, male and female, and pollinate so I will have other seeds to begin again in the winter grow room.

If you are cloning Sativa, please let me know.

The closest I got to cloning sativa was blackjack, a sativa dominant strain. When I did take the clones the temperatures were between 80F and 90F. I made to sure prep everything to a t before taking the first clone. Disinfecting trays, soaking cubes, dialing in environment, getting nutrients ready, etc. She took in less than 10 days. :)

Indoor? Outdoor? Leggy plants unless aggressive topping, fim, and cropping, and LST? Or single top? How long ago? Bottom, top or middle of the stalk?

I've done all those things. no nutes, but cloning solution in all media. Temps were easily in that range since we haven't had a day in the 70s in weeks.

humidity plays a major role they like it at 80ish even 90 % i havent had a clone die on me in a while i use clonex and rapid rooters i get roots 5-7 days some runts maybe 9 days..i also use bioroot from general organics..about a 1/8 tsp in a 16 oz bottle spray and i water and spray the dome and slightly open the lil vents in the dome as the days go by its works!!.

Are they Sativa that you are cloning? I know lots of other hybrids and indica have shown roots in several days, but not sativa.

I have two sets going now under the humidity dome, but haven't measured its RH. I'll put my humidistat in there today. Bioroot is something I'll look into.

They are sativa dominant ! I got some headband and some kosher tangie (24k) you should measure the humidity the first 3 days thats all they need some humidity after that your golden..i find it hard this not workin for you..just keep your humidity high i throw a hydrometer in the dome to keep it over 75 % all the time

Uniformity along the entire main stalk, and all branches of available rooting enzymes?

Is it possible that there is no uniformity along the stalks?? Would that be the reason that some of the cuttings from these two sativa plants root and others do not, maybe 30% actually root.

Has anyone taken a cutting and at the sites of former nodes--- where the leaves have been removed---attempted two or three potential rooting ones on a single stalk?

I've grown Diamond from Midnight Farms. Good stuff. Started packing on the flowers as soon as I put it under 12/12. Unlike other clones I've grown, the Diamond did not branch the least bit, but instead formed a ton of buds along its main stem. I'm not sure if that is typical or the result of me putting the clones under a short day light almost immediately. Anyway, "Diamond" is a good name cuz the buds sparkle like they're encrusted with tiny jewels.

Right now I'm running Critical Kush and Platinum Purple. I grew some CK about a year ago, and it performed nicely on yield and potency. I like the genetics of Platinum Purple and can't wait to see how the flowers turn out.

I use soil or a primitive wick hydro system, nothing fancy.

How about you post your own question, in your own thread - instead of hijacking someone else's thread that has nothing to do with your question!

Oh, and by the way - I clone and never had a problem Sativa vs. Indica. Pure or otherwise. Now go start your own thread!
