Frost dates for all you Michigan growers are Sept. 28th to Oct.8th. Hoping for as much flowering time as possible. These dates more or less depending where in Mich. you are.

i live in a neighboring state to MI , anyways we get frost real early too but i grow indoors so i dont worry bout that but the room i have my plants in gets real cold so i will have to watch that..

Newb question for this area, or any really. Should you harvest before frost? Or try to protect your babies and work them through it. I have heard to watch for the crystals to turn opaque, but this is my first attempt ever. Need some friendly info. Thanks! :)

Northern Lower Pennisula here... We have a pre-frost (one frost before any cold drops in temps) early in october so lets hope its a long season. Its looking weary at the moment

If the plants are not ready and you can cover them, the weed should pull through a frost with no worries. Opaque and amber are what you are looking for as an optimum.

Buds don't ruin in a frost?? Sounds newb of me. But I always thought a frost would degrade the buds and flowers. Anymore information on this im really interested??? The first date is my impeding-doom day so this would help put my mind at ease.

It got down really cold the other morning, and there were frost advisories for Saginaw/Bay City area. My girls look ok, save the droppy one.

Wow..... hard to believe. That puts about 50 degrees between us...

You'll have to watch it now..... :peace: I won't see a frost until maybe January.

I was real concerned with the frost, thought if it did before it was time to harvest just water before sun comes up and my girls would be straight... Too bad they were ripped a few days ago. Happy growing MI.

been flowering for around 3 weeks here in wisco, I dont think the sativas will finish but the rest should be all good...(fingers crossed) No way I'm covering tho, cuz I dont wanna blow my cover if ya know what I mean, that whole eyes in the sky shit freaks me out. I love growing but sometimes I look at my plants and stop and think man I could be so fucked.
