Micronutrients

I’m looking for something the contains the essential micronutrients that isn’t high in NPK. Is there such a thing? The only thing I see is from Homboldt but it is 5% N and I already have dark green leaves.

Back about '82 I bought my first hydro nutes that was just bags of salts and a recipe sheet for different formulations. One of those bags was labeled, Micronutrients, and was just the soluble mineral salts. Check out sites that sell basic salts for mixing your own hydro blends and you should be able to find some.

There's threads in here about it so I'd try searching the forums first. Sorry I don't have any links but that's not my bag anymore. I'm a bottle baby now. :D

Do you know how to use it? I can’t really find anything online except for using it in a large area, not container plants.
You want the micronized or dust azomite that will mix with water. 1 teaspoon per gallon. You can also add some to your growing medium before planting or mix some in to the top of your soil.

I bought a 44 lb bag and use it in my garden and super soil I mix.

You might want to look at kelp as well as it's loaded with good stuff.

For water soluble salts I would go with something like this:

You could also mix your own as well

Hell of a lot of stuff in that Azomite.

Should cover most of the micro needs pretty well if given in the proper doses.

Azomite is good stuff and I'm fortunate that I have a place about a mile away that stocks large bags of this and other organic amendments. The only issue is storing five or six 40 - 50 lb bags of stuff. I'm running out of room and places to put things.

It says PART A, I assume part B is just calcium?

Yes. Part B is just calcium nitrate.

Part C is monopotassium phosphate.

Just basic nutrients but they work just fine. It's really all you need.

You add part C at flower.

Sweet. Yeah im down with the simplicity, been meaning to order some dry salts myself from local agricultural store. I might get round to it when I set back up.

It's a pretty simple concept. Provide macro nutrients phosphorous, potassium, nitrogen, add calcium, and micronutrients in veg and then add additional potassium and phosphorus in flower. A dose of magnesium sulfate at week 2 or 3 in flower and and maybe some potassium sulfate at week 4 or 5. Nothing after that except base nutes. I've been using VitaGrow for over a decade. It works. It's not organic but it's got everything a plant needs. It's especially good in coco and hydroponics because all the salts dissolve completely. Everything stays clean. And pH stays stable.

If you want a packaged micro blend used in hydro
and tropical fish plants, Rexalon APN. There are
some other blends for orchard crops.
I buy the micro's I use in 1Kg boxed, Moly at 100g.
churchhaze do you use Cu? I'm still going to use
my tom/chili notes. SLITLOS

After doing research I wasn’t convinced azomite would work so I made some foliage spray out out Dyna-Gro and the plant perked right up.

Kelp is loaded with Micros.

Azomite is killer. Great stuff, and have been using it 15 years. I use it, and Kelp both.

3.8 Cu/ft bale Promix gets .4lb of Azomite, and 300 grams Kelp
