Micro PC stealth grow

well a bean has popped, the other three truned black so i took them out and sent them on thier way.

sprout is now in soil and on its way. most stringing is in place for LST and if needed Sog. flat white boarding all round room and flat white base.

temp guage is an old hardy one from trout fishing days.

carbon filter, well this is a bigger problem than i thought. small is fine but i may have to scrub this air real clean. the idea is too have a large container holding a fine guaze and then a large amount (1.5lb) of carbon ontp the fan would then force smelly warm air from cab into this container then into open air. this will be placed behind a false draw cover and black 4 in high 15 inch long blacked out particle filter.

im going too try and fill the cab with one plant fluros will help lower limbs, while the 200 eviro will care for the uppers. seedling will recieve 4 days veg only. i cant afford this to get out of hand so it will be topped and all other methods used too keep it small but still yield a little.

no pic's sorry. what i say is just words, but a pic can get me arrested in UK. best too be safe than sorry.

seedling burst into life.

baby leaves have no gone the first two blade leaves are huge for a baby plant they are around the size of your thumb and near 1.5 times as thick. i have grown/sprouted a few plants in my time and have never seen a seedling like this. its leaves are very fat and stubby and it grows incredibly fast i mean realy fast.

lighting has become a problem. cash is too tight i cant afford too purchase electrical cable and light fittings. i butchered an old lamp for its fitting, 240v bayonet fitting was the best i could find so it was used. i cut the old cable from my burnt out soldering iron and added a plug now i had a makeshift light and installed into cab. being 19 inch high inside cab i decided too mount bulb on the side wall of the cab and around 10 inch high. i could then slide plant under light and let her climb towards but only at the speed i wanted. i always kept the plant around 1 - 2 inch above plant and tied down LST style.

bulb was a pain no cash meant i had too raid the house. a philips genie 18w 2700k or an osram 20w 2700k. i chose the higher wattage bulb and installed. 15hrs running and temp sits at 83.1f without any fans running so would be fine. weather over here as gotten better the september sun is still fairly bright so plant gets put out for natural light and then into cab. plant gets CFL/sunlight over 15hrs and a 9hr dark period. no timer sucks but i can live without that.

Plant: im unsure when you start counting nodes my two croydlons (sp) have died and i have two single leaves, then a 3 blade leaf and opposite a 5 blade leaf, another two 5 leafs, then another two 5 leafs then the tip. when does a grower start counting nodes ? i dont know if i should top her soon or leave her longer i would say she is around 4 - 5 inches high now and already been under LST for a week. i also stuck for soil so she is still in an 8inch pot. i wondered if i could keep her in the 8 inch pot all the way too harvest ?.
oh and i have MG ready :D i dont care i need ferts and thats all i had left over from summer hanging basket feeding.

this realy is growing on a budget of nothing

update:

been out today and purchased an extra 2m 240/50 cable and another bathroom light fitment. wired both up and now have a 20w 2700k and a 18w 2700k. plant is now starting too grow fairly well.

while out i found some baby bio (10.6 - 4.4 - 1.7) temps hit 87f and a minimum of 65f evenings with lights off but hopefuly everything will be ok.

will post some pictures tomorrow too show what the plant looks like. it has been lst'd and requires a little bigger pot so i have been told.

here are some latest snapshots.

i have now started too number snaps eg: week 4.3 = week four day 3.

upto now this seedling has been brutaly beaten up. it has been growing in soil, and has been feeding on MG: pour and feed liquid fert (0.2-0.2-0.2). requirements say 25ML into a 8-9 inch pot every month. this seedling recieved 20mL every 5 days. on week 4.2 the plant recieved a full dose of Baby bio (10.6-4.4-1.7) a full 10 drops/ pint of water. the plant recieve a quater of this mixture. she has been under low stress training from week 2.1 and stem gently teased into a twist too allow all nodes too recieve light. she will be feeding on baby bio orchid food over its flowering period, as my local store only stocks this so will have too be ok. leave prongs keep going up in count. 3 leaf fan, 5 leaf fan, 7 leaf fan. have yet too see a nine leaf or higher leaf set yet but i wait in hope they may show.

her lighting period is: lights on @ 9am, lights off at 12 pm. the plant recieves 2400 lumens from 2x 20w 2700k wavelength compact fluro's each giving 1200 lumens, and an 18w sylvana classica tropical tube in blue and red wavelength (premotes photosynth) with around 900 lumens so a total of 3300 lumens ( i think and could be totaly wrong).

her living quaters are as so: 19h - 15w - 15d all in inches cabinet. the micro pc would have caused too many eyes too look at it. i decided on a pc desk cabinet too be modified too hold both flowering and veg cab. a swap of bulbs/tube would make it a flower or veg chamber. ventilation comes via 1x 8cm pc fan outlet and a passive vent. altogether temps max at 85f and min of 66f. scrubber is already being worked on but may not be needed.

New Update:

today the plant recieved another 2x 20w CFL 2700k flowering warm white bulbs. this brings the total wattage too 80w ( and equivelent of 400w incandescant).

plant repotted into a large patio container and has drainage holes drilled into bottom.

she has been fed twice with babybio 10 drops too half a litre and plant loves the high N count. today i also purchased some authur bowers bonemeal with a nuet count of 0-7-0. only problem was it is not mixed with water and comes as a rough looking apple crumble mix ( i was blazed at time). so out came the grinder and i made it more into a fine powder. i put quarter of a teaspoon into my standing water gave it a good shake and watered plant.

plant is 100% an autoflower pheno but i have no clue what type, on closer look at other strains i have by elimination pulled it down too either a white dwarf or a LR1. she has 6 tops from four lower nodes, the rest of the nodes ( stem upwards) upto too the top are covered in little white hairs/buds and even the sideshoots and there tops have buds and hairs. it is not a fast grower either and does not look like it is producing as many buds as i think it would have. hopefuly the extra two lights will give plant what it needs.

shall update with new pictures tomorrow for ya'll too drool over and pick holes in my very first too flower and LST'ing.
