Well I have decided to start a caregiving service with a few partners from Florida after having 0 luck finding work in Michigan. Before all the bs rolls in. I have extensive experience in my craft not to mention a few years of experience running a retail store. We are shooting for a September opening. Oh so you have to be in a certain place to understand that locations laws.
Yeah im from Florida where its not one city that's out of work it's the entire state. Also the place with the toughest marijuana laws in the country. Be thankful that you live in a state that at least has legalized medical marijuana.

here's the thing. caregiver to patient association/referral service was thought up right in the beginning, when we all knew the law didn't support disp's. guys have been doing it the whole time. also, every disp owner who shut down is now doing this as well.
then. you gotta remember where you're at. in florida all the in between skinned guys are from cuba, and poor. here in MI they're middle eastern, adn don't let the stained wedding shirt and skunky odor fool you. all those warehouses those guys own are finally paying off. they've been doing it for years now, and their technique is getting better. they're hiring white dudes that paid attention in science.
you would be much better off, imo, to try cash in your "fall back on" thing. open a small welding shop. or fix vacuums. or sell firewood. or custom paint harleys. start a wheelchair ramp construction co.
this is a tough gig.

If you guys didn't go ignorantly into a conversation. You would see that I originally moved here because my wife got a promotion and was relocated to the Detroit metropolitan area. I didn't relocate here to start a business.
By the way im meeting next week with the co chairman of the NPRA, so I can do my part in fighting for patients rights. I was an active member of PUFMM in Florida since its inception and look forward to helping the cause in Michigan.
