Michigan Law VS Federal Law

Can somebody seriously explain to me how Michigan (or any other state) can certify anyone as a legal grower/user, when it is still a federal crime?
I mean, seriously, WTF!!!! What is stopping the feds from going on a busting binge? I always thought you were protected from federal prosecution
as long as you were legal through the state, but after reading the news I now know that I am mistaken. I am not sure if I just don't quite get it.
Either way I fear for my freedom. Does anyone have some insight on this topic?

The Feds would need to hire 2,000,000 people to have an effective busting binge. There's too many ops. The Feds and the states both know it's not feasible.

Technically, Due to the Supreme Courts recent rulings, the state cannot supercede or circumvent Federal law. And contrary to other opinions, there is NOTHING to stop the Feds from going on a Bust Spree. Federal law has ALWAYS superceded State law since WW1, and the adoption of the commerce clause by the Feds.
I personally believe that this entire "Medical" business was a set up by the federal government from word go. The system as it is set up is ripe for fraud, and (predictably) it is being abused, and being abused bad. Once the Fed Government steps back in they can say to the public "See? We tried to let them do this themselves (at the state level), and look at how it's been abused!" It was destined to be a failed experiment from the beginning.

It's like when your dad says no, but your mom says yes. Since your dad is busy at work all the time, you get away with it.

state sovereignty, and the Constitution of the United States. Here in Michigan, Our Constitution also.

Look into a States (i believe its) 13th Amendment. The right of a State to withdraw from the Union of the United States.

also Federal Supremacy has much to do with the Maritime Law, the US has been under, and ONLY applies in limited situations.

There is much to do with the Interstate Commerce Laws too.....

Go to the back of the line Sparky, that abolishes slavery. It's the 10th amendment that allows states (or the people) to retain all rights not specifically given to the Federal Gov't by the constitution. It's an interesting read for those who wish to google how it was originally drafted, and has been interpreted by the courts over the years. In recent years, the Feds have taken control by the "commerce" clause.
In United States v. Lopez 514 U.S. 549 (1995), a federal law mandating a "gun-free zone" on and around public school campuses was struck down because, the Supreme Court ruled, there was no clause in the Constitution authorizing it. This was the first modern Supreme Court opinion to limit the government's power under the Commerce Clause. The opinion did not mention the Tenth Amendment, and the Court's 1985 Garcia opinion remains the controlling authority on that subject.

However the courts contradict this in 2005:

Most recently, the Commerce Clause was cited in the 2005 decision Gonzales v. Raich. In this case, a California woman sued the Drug Enforcement Administration after her medical marijuana crop was seized and destroyed by federal agents. Medical marijuana was explicitly made legal under California state law by Proposition 215; however, marijuana is prohibited at the federal level by the Controlled Substances Act. Even though the woman grew the marijuana strictly for her own consumption and never sold any, the Supreme Court stated that growing one's own marijuana affects the interstate market of marijuana. The theory was that the marijuana could enter the stream of interstate commerce, even if it clearly wasn't grown for that purpose and that was unlikely ever to happen (the same reasoning as in the Wickard v. Filburn decision). It therefore ruled that this practice may be regulated by the federal government under the authority of the Commerce Clause.

Oh how I wish that all 50 would just say "Fuck you Uncle Sam!", and just go ahead and do what they are gonna do as guaranteed by the Constitution. The Feds would surely be fucked then.

Thus the AS I BELIEVE in parentheses as to the Amendments.

i Do not recall the exact case at the moment, but recently, another California case went to the U.S. Supreme Court, and was denied being heard, leaving the California State Supreme Court as the finale ruling body. The case involved a guy in Cali, that was arrested for Possession. He had less than 1/4 ounce, and was a Cali Card Carrying Pt. LEO refused to return his Meds. So he sued, right up to the State Supreme Court, and the SC of California Ruled he must have his medicine returned. Now this is not a case of the Federal Court over ruling the State Court, but is certainly a situation where the U.S. Supreme Court, fully upheld the rights of a States sovereignty to make laws the Federal Government can not make, or enforce upon, or within a State.

things that make you go hmmm.

The FED's aren't going to mess with anybody obaying the state laws, They are going to mess with the people abuseing the state law. than the feds will bust them. The feds are not going to mess with people that obay the state law. but they are just keeping it so they can fuck you if you try to fuck them. Drugs are bad and cannabis is a drug, it should be kept out of the hand of the puplic,

It's like you get a bottle of morhpen from the doctor, You are obaying the laws, nobody is going to mess with you, NOW if they find out that you were selling/giving your morhpen away, they are going to come and send you to Jail.

Follow the rules = grow pot, not get busted, live stoned ever after

streach the rules = grow weed, goto jail, get ass raped, get out with a sore ass and a felony on your record

weird... because even the state doesn't follow the state's laws.

I am here to tell you the feds will fuck with whoever they want whenever they want. The police told me the feds don't give a fuck about state laws, honestly I do not think they care about federal laws either. Visit a federal prison and listen to a few of the horror stories. They aren't all terrorists. lol.

one thing i ll add. ive been watching from a distance since Cali passed Medical. Waited 2 yrs before i decided to stick my toe in the water here at home. One thing has been quite apparent. If you open a brick and motor type of public entity, you WILL be a target. if you try to be to Legit to Quit. youll be in jail soon... Keep it low key, and under the 99 plant fed numbers, and most people can work with the limits within the act... those that cant, either dont know how to, or dont want to. That is why it is important to be part of a Compassion Club. You have built in networking and low key avenues to "Acquire"

Looks like we should repeal the 16th and 17th amendments. Let's have the states control themselves again.
The problem with that is that our government is one of the worst in the US! (No jobs, kids are fucking stupid, only state with declining population, all that shit)
