I live in Michigan too. You will need cal-mag through your entire grow. If there were a 4th # on the nutrients it would be N-P-K-Ca. You should stop the Nitrogen by week 3 of flower. You should use a nice flower nutrient starting in week 1 of flower with an NPK of 0-15-18, or something like Papa's perfect poop or bat guano if you're into the organic way. Also, you should add Diatomaceous earth in your soil to prevent/ eliminate bugs like aphids and thrips. You should treat the top of your soil and the entire outside of your pots REGULARLY with NEEM OIL solution. Bugs cause all sorts of terminal problems. Make sure your plants have plenty of support during flower or the fall storms will flatten them. Hope that helps. This is a pic my own personal strain that's a Mendo Purps x (Jesus OG x 9# Hammer) it's 6'6" in the photo. It's in a 4x4 grow box i made from foam insulation boards and pvc. Also, it has Nitrogen toxicity in the photo. The leaves will look the humidity levels are too high or it's over watered.

Just to clarify something..... you said to use Cal mag the entire grow (I'd rather use sea bird guano (very high in calcium and use Epsom salts)
Then you said not to use nitrogen at the last part of flower.
To clarify ... calmag has nitrogen in it. Most has around an average rating of 2 or 3. (3-0-0)
Also because I didn't know this in the beginning...Most cal mags are not organic.
Okay that was all. :)

Ok so I stopped using calmag because I've bn using maxi bloom and it's in the ingredients.
I've also been keeping a close eye on the plants for any bug problems and nothing so far...at least to my untrained everything looks good...
Also I'm not exactly sure what strains I'm running cuz I started these from bagseed. I think half are gg and and gsc.

Wrong plants need moor nitrogen all the way to the end plus bloom nutes.
