MH veg...LED flower...Should i acclimate before flip?

Hey everyone.

As the title says, im moving my vegged girls away from the MH and under LED to flower. I have never used LEDs before. Im wondering if i should acclimate the plants for a few days/week before flipping? allow them to get used to the light and new surroundings/environment?

Or maybe im overthinking it and just flipping asap will be fine?

HID is quite powerful in itself so maybe just a day or three under the LEDs to adjust might be beneficial before flip. But I'd say you'll be fine. It's. More for going from T5 orbs lower wattage LED

I think you should wait a bit. They can probably take it but its just so easy to mess things up with intensities on your first led run. Change them to leds at lower intensity than your MH, see them grow a bit, making sure its its healthy green new growth and then flipp and start ramping up light slowly. Doesnt need to take 3 days necessarily. But make sure theyre happy first. After having built your new light its a bitch to mess up your first run.

Edit ok thats it, no more posting from me today as my brain isnt right. I just reread aw16 and i didnt understand his very clear post until second go. Avoid drinks and post, kids.

Thanks, my initial thinking was giving them some time to adjust.

Thanks for the response bud. I originally felt it was gonna be best to give them some time to adjust. Wanted to see how others felt.

Extra time in veg isn't a big deal. I may just give them a week and closely monitor their growth.

I even failed on my edit, getting Do instead of dont. Here back home midsummer/solstice is a big deal with a lot of mandatory drinking.
