mh from seed to flower?

Can i use a brand new 600w mh lamp wrefelctor and air cooled system to grow a plant from the time i put it in the ground to the time i bloom it?

thanks :) learn somethin new every day do i have to have the lighs right on top as there so strong? or can i have them above and just toss a couple bulbs on the sprouts cause i want to have two or three mothers pot bound for clones

you want to have it at a highth so that when its on you can put your hand on the top of the plant and it feels warm not hot.

the mh bulb will grow a little more fluffy bud then a sodium but you will have smoke

Not fluffy, just slightly less yield because the HPS is more efficient and has more light in the optimum spectrum. Nothing fluffy about the buds though.

I agree with some of the other learned growers. You can get very good results using a MH all the way through. If you give them plenty of light Im not sure you suffer yield wise that much with a MH.
Yield and Quality is more connected with the genetics of the plant compared to the type of light it gets. Most of the MH bulbs you buy are full spectrum or close to full spectrum.
I use 3k or 4k MH bulbs exclusively and get good results.
There is nothing wrong with using HPS bulbs they work great too.
I just find it less trouble to use the same bulb all the way through. And find I get bushier plants using MH.
Just my opinion.

thanks i was asking can i use the mh from the time i put the seed in the ground to the time im ready to vegg i wasnt sure if they would be ok with the mh but seems so they would so thANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE INPUT HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION
