Methylated Spirit (Denatured Alcohol )for Sterilizing Scissors

I know, I know Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl), well I cant get hold of any soon enough to take clones tommorow.

Can I use Methylated Spirit? It's 90% Ethanol and 10% Methanol. Commonly used for cleaning and cleaning electrical components etc.

This is OK right?

Ok well I cannot see a problem with this at all. I have also googled the idea, it seems will pretty much be perfect for the job. Leaves no residue.
