Anyone have a method that works better than others? Trying to make some clones that will have a good chance of surviving. I just read the survival rate is %7 for clones.

What brand rapid rooter cube? Did you soak in just water or in a nutrient solution?

I get 90% with just cut\scrape\ stright into a rapid rooter cube...in a humidity done on a heat mat....
Same I just did 100 clones and got 95 to root others were more of a wish trying to clone extremely small just to do it. Rapid rooters in dome for a week then open vents and should be rooted by day 10 at latest. Cut at 45° angle and scrape lightly on sides dip in clone gel and into rapid rooters easy as hell. I used to have better success with ez cloner which is a type of aerocloner but I'm not dropping 500 on a 128 site cloner when I can get like 95% with rapid rooters lol

The method or style that works best for YOU!

The real key is CLEANLINESS! No matter what method you choose, keeping your equipment clean and I mean sanitized before you start. With Aero, you will have the best results running a micro amount of bleach in the res. This prevents any bacteria from attacking and resulting in the dreaded res "slime" in aero cloning...

I have an Aero and it runs perfectly - I mix 1 gram of powdered "pool shock" to 1 gallon of water and then use 1 liq. ox per 5 gallons of res. and add that every 3 days.

I have plenty of Root Riot's around too......Simply depends on how I feel about how I clone...Just remember to sanitize the Root Riot tray and the cube holder after every use!
