Messing up plants and calling it a grow journal (again).

Slowly getting better. Still messed and a little overwatered showing from flush 2 days ago. Not a ton of air movement in the tent so took the autos outside to hopefully dry up a bit. Oh and saw a black nat and not trying to have any of that.

I think a week or so and we should be looking pretty good (all things considered).

feel like starting another seed, not sure what though. Might take a look in my photoperiod jar and see what stands out. Guess the other 2 will pop tomorrow but they are slightly colder than normal so maybe another day more than usual.

Also picked up a bag of organic alfalfa pellets to try as a stand alone fert for some attempts at organic plants. Been doing a little research and only read great things about it. 30 bucks for 40 pounds, delivered

Oh, I didn’t actually pick it up, it should be here in a couple days.

nirvina northern lights and Dutch passion white widow.

the white widow will stay in that pot entire grow,74CD4D18-6C2B-4116-9D21-C69677D5B5DC.jpeg

set the seed on the wick, dry soil now, not gonna water it in.

northern lights watered in 150 ml full strength nutes I think weak 700 ppm, then just plain water in the res for the small plants

Well I dared to look at my medium ph again and it went back down 4.5 - 5.5 on pretty much everything. Mixed up some nutrient solution at 9ph and rand it through till I got to 6.5. Then I came back with standard 6.0 standard ~700 ppm. The plants again seemed to enjoy this, hope it stays in place now and I can get back on track with regular waterings at 6.0 ph

when I was finished all medium was reading 6.0 and 1.3 ec or slightly less

between all the plants, I do think I should be good on flowers once they start coming in and that’s the main goal. would be nice to have some to share with others as well

these 2 popped today, no helmets in sight. Haven’t had any helmets when watering in with 150ml, much less than that and then they have trouble getting them off.

Alfalfa pellets should be here Saturday, that should be interesting

I’d like to say I can’t believe it but I can. My ph pen was even fucked up when when I was making my medium a month ago. My medium is sub 5.0ph.

gonna mix up some new medium tomorrow and switch everything over to organic.

all of my medium being used right now is organic just salt nutes, so I’m going to flush it and add new components until I have a medium of 5.8 or so. not concerned with residuals. Probably make 50 pots so they will be ready when transplants are ready.

it won’t be pretty or fun but I’m tired of messing with this shit.

Still here, got everything looking pretty good now, after throwing out everything that was looking bad, which was everything but the under dawg Kush nearly. Kinda sucks.

everything is organic now and aside from whatever they put into the bags of soil I have, there is only alfalfa pellets for food, seems to be working great, fastest and best looking growth I’ve ever had and on 12/12 with not very intense light, couple hundred watts only,

when making newest batch of soil, realized just what a piece of trash the blue lab soil pen is, better off just sticking reg ph pen into the soil. Got a bunch of 6.3 ph organic soil now though so that’s good. Also really light and fluffy still.

I ended up putting a second wicking string into the pot for the under dawg Kush, hope that will be enough if not I’m gonna get a thicker rope.

also redesigned the tent and cabinet a bit. Will get better pics up soon. Maybe on everything

Little flooding on one autopot, caught it early though and res small enough it doesn’t matter anyways, not that it flooded that much

Bad pic of under dawg Kush waiting for it’s second wicking cord to get it some more water, pot really light now, hoping to not have to water it though so I can see if this is gonna work. I believe it will still

Under dawg Kush Got 3 watering strings in there nowand it’s slowly getting more water in there. I think a few more days to a week for good saturation throughout the

Santa Fe peppers, they were completely yellow about a week ago from the transplanting and are starting to look really good. Also northern light 12/12 from seed and red mandarin auto on 12/12 now also

Little updat with decent pics kinda

starting to get a few soil nats so I need to change my wicking set up a tad to cover the cord and entry point into the pot. Gonna have all three cords enter one hole in the pot and also wrap the cord in plastic. Would be nice to have a hose to put the cord through put plastic will keep the cord more flexible, which is kinda necessary for me.

underdawg Kush, top few inches dry and below is wet but not soaked according to moisture meter. Starting to seem like this will work very nicely, just the nats. 1C3451C9-93EA-443F-99BC-5EE18BAB0114.jpeg
Pink string holding label for pollination sites

Northern lights left and red mandarin right. I believe both are just under a month old, from planting seed. With the moderate lighting, the growth rate seems pretty decent and plant health seems pretty good as well. I believe both started in bad soil and early transplants, so the would be a

Mango and French macaroon sprouted and looking good, plus some other plants. I thought the raspberry wasn’t going to make it after transplant from last soil, was looking pretty bad but now it’s looking like it will make it, which is nice, they can be a bit tougher for me to germ

Here is the plant I found growing outside back left and I believe other two are royal purple x I can remember right now. And some more other plants.

Hopi tobacco looking really nice now I think.

and I started 2 seeds of another cross of mine in coco plus alfalfa pellets mix. Just for fun, to see how it goes and what problems arise. Didn’t care about ph of the medium but I think coco is 6 or above and the pellets I measured at 7 soI think it should be okay as far as that goes. One seed was a little preme looking, biggest reason for putting two in there. I think I put them in yesterday, the 16th

View attachment 5032035Quick update, had to clean up another little flood, forgot to keep an eye on it. Not much but I have to move everything around to dry it up so it’s not fun. Took the autopot apart and cleaned the float real good, was a little lazy on last flood, hope it’s good now lol old dumb bitch

Anyways I had everything unhooked from water source yesterday when remodeling the setup, seems the underdawg didn’t like it, got light overnight and seems a tad ‘upset,, no biggie.

Had to make covers for the 2nd res setups, was starting to get allege, saw it coming so was planning on it a bit

Just using some tubing ing to elevate some plastic over the res

Everything - northern lights back right also not happy about being unhooked from water, pot light and little droopy. But light just came on too. Covered bottoms of pots and wick cord with plastic to stop flies, super getto, no

Top of underdawg Kush. Could be worse, considering it’s life has been pretty rough (being pretty generous with that), and lights still pretty low watts (200 and at 20 inches up
