Hey folks.Anyone here get this problem?Seems to happen alot lately for some reason where the seed shell falls off but the membrane sticks.Any tips other then waiting it out witch usually fails or the dreaded surgery I hate having to do.Keeping heat around 24C and RH around 70 to 75%.Thanks.

Take two pointed toothpicks. Use one to put in the crack to the side of the membrane and then take the other one and use the tip to catch the edge of the membrane and slide it off while using the other toothpick to hold the seedling in place. It's hard to explain so I hope that makes sense. I do it all the time.

I went to try the toothpick method and the membrane pretty much had removed itself within the last hour.Guess this Fat bastard strain didn't want me messing with her.Now hopefully the Chocolate thai will be so kind.Ha.

It'll come off itself. As stated earlier you can drop some water mixed with hydrogen peroxide and/or Epsom salt and it'll soften it.
Next time plant a bit deeper.

Thanks guys.I didn't go as deep as I have in past and more then likely that's what been causing it.Taproots were longer then I'm use to and was probably throwing me off as far as depth perception.
