I like it way better than the last version. Rez is crystal clear. Last versions looked like a pile of dogshit if I didnt change it out after 2 weeks.

Ive been using the 2 part for the last 7 weeks in my bloom and I like the results.

I ordered another 22lb bag yesterday but the 1 part this time.

Im planning to use the 1 part for veg and 2 part for bloom. Im also thinking of using the 1 part in one bloom rez and 2 part in my other bloom rez and seeing them go toe to toe. If its the same end result... why do twice the work?
Simplicity is a plus. I like to see how this works out for you.

Looks like my MC 2 part skid is coming in today :)

Oh they finally went to a 2 part? I think that's probably best.

I'm not sure if Version 3 seems as strong. I add my usual amount and I'm not convinced it brings it up to where it should be. Anyone else notice this? I feel i'm using more in the last version. Still works good though.

Same, thats probably the missing molassas and lower calnit mix.
Just put it in my brain file that its gonna go faster now.

I just cant get behind anything megacrop does after the way they switched formulas multiple times and didn't change packaging or anything. I had the misfortune of not knowing they changed formula until i fed the new bag the same as old and it almost killed my garden. This new product is just a copycat of jacks, surprised they just didnt put it in the same bag again. After the change screwed my garden combined with the sludge and difficulty dissolving i had enough. I bought Jacks and calnit from aquaterra, https://www.gardentech.ca . I spent weeks trying to find jacks in canada and its the only place i found it, the jacks i like much better because it actually dissolves and doesnt leave a sludge.

Just out of curiosity what's the price difference between the Jacks 2 part and the Mega 2 part?

No idea about the megacrop 2 part but jacks is dirt cheap and much better IMO.

Edit: if you look at the gardentech site they sell both jacks and megacrop. They are canadian so the prices are CAD, but its an easy comparison.

I dont see whats wrong with a company trying to perfect its formula. You have to remember Greenleaf is new company compared to Jack's. Jacks has been around since early 2000s I think. They've perfected their formula already.

The last version of MC was muddy in hydro but this new version is crystal clear in my rez. I forgot what else they added..... I think extra calcium and magnesium. So they are making legitimate improvements.

My friend uses Jack's and has good results.

You can grow fire with both of them. Go with whatever's cheapest and most convenient for you. I only prefer MC over Jacks cause of the extra silica and that its a legit 1 part from seed to harvest instead of Jack's 3 part. Less work for me.

Nothing wrong with improving a formula, thats not my issue. The problem is they didnt put it anywhere on their ordering site that the formula was different, they didnt change the packaging, no notification at all that anything had changed, until my garden almost died and i researched to find out they had changed the formula yet left the feeding instructions and packaging exactly they same.

Combine that with an inferior product and just laughable customer support and i will never be a customer ever again, and i will make sure others know what their experience is like. It cost me over a pound in yeild.

I am also of the opinion that jacks is actually easier because MC is a giant PITA to get to actually dissolve and turns into a stinky sludge in any resevoir. I have my whole garden fed in less time and effort then it takes MC to even dissolve.

Are you talking about the 1 part not dissolving? I put a scoop in a 5 gal bucket fill from a tap its all dissolved by the time bucket is full.

There are at least three different versions that we know of, that all came in the same bag. Im not the only one who had sludgy not able to dissolve crap. Sounds like you got a better version, till they stealth change it on you.

I have been using mega crop 1 part for a couple yrs now have seen 3 versions all melted good in water. What i dont like is if left open to the air it gets clumpy or worse mushy.

Mega Crop Canada said they have yet another new one in a few weeks. They said they won't be grinding the balls down anymore.
Something about less clumping that way.
I don't think it makes much difference. Even ground down the cluming is not too bad.
