It came in the mail today. Pretty quick. Is it liquid in the bag it feels really weird. I will open it when i use it. I am tucking it away for grow tents 2.0
A friend got one last week. Came in a super heavy duty box. Double walled thickness.
Much heavier duty box than mine from the states came in.

And are you using it as they recommend at 2gs/gal at seedling, 4gs/gal in veg, 5gs/gal first 4 weeks bud and 5.5gs/gal the last 4 or half dosing?

And are you in soil too?

No i'm using coco. Yes i'm using it as their calculator suggests. Maybe a bit stronger in early veg.
I go by grams for the volume of water i'm mixing into. Then i measure the EC.....it's usually spot on what the calculator says.
I did find the new formula was a bit stronger so cut back my flower nutes by about 8%. I still get the same EC.

I go by grams and mix 75% of what the chart says for the volume I'm mixing and it works fine. I'm in soil though. I don't check ec, ppm or ph either

So here are a few observations I can describe. Now that I've been using mega crop for a few months some things seem evident.
1: Near the end of flower I'm noticing that the water I give them daily takes forever to drain through. More than before in my days of doing this. It sits for along time as it slowly seeps in. So this tells me that all through flower and even at the end the roots are going nuts. A mat of roots holding the water up top. This is good. Lots of roots is good right? I just move onto another plant or two and start watering them while the first ones sucks it up. I always water to runoff but it takes longer than it used. It seems in the last 2 weeks they just must be making those fine roots just under the surface in a crazy amount. It happening with all the plants at all the stages.
2: Imo with having measured anything, my branches are thicker and more hardy. They were ok before, but better now with mega crop. They support the buds a bit better for longer as well. No big deal but another indicator of better plants than my old nute were providing. A overall more robust plant.
3: I'm seeing no loss in frost with mega crop on any strains. I'm also not seeing any major increase either. Not bad either way. I still think that's a win as I'm getting just as good results as the more pricey bottles of water were making.
Smell and taste are just as good as a well. I am seeing the plants finish more healthy imo than they were before as well.
4: Mega Crop has NO problem growing monster plants. My stretching may be slightly less but still MC is capable of producing some real bushes. I wonder what this stuff would do outdoors? Trees maybe? Huge veg plants....huge flowering plants.
5: The savings in $'s I'm going to realize are substantial. Better plants ....less money.

I just finished my fifth crop on this stuff, I have a 100G res, and I STILL have my bag left over. We are talking at least 21lbs+ of indoor off that one bag, and I am starting my next run and still haven't opened the second bag I ordered 8 months ago cause I was sure I was going to run out, lol. My observations are that it grows some really dank crystaline buds with high potency, I was paying about 200$ a run on water and now for 130$ I've done 5 runs and will probably do another full run on this one 22lb bag that never ends.

I'm going to also use it outside this summer with my 4 autopot setup. They need to make some pots bigger than 6.5Gallons. How about some 25 Gallon pots?

So MegaCrop standalone only huh? You didn't use any of the CalMagpro or their Bud Explosion PK?
Also what style do you grow in? Coco? RDWC? Soil?

I do ebb and flow, and I use 5'' baskets with only hydro-corn (porous clay pellets). I use lake water, but before discovering that worked great I used RO. I only add calmag (and it is whatever bottle I have on hand) when I need to when my source water is a bit low in it. And I only add a slight amount, but I do because I grow under high intensity white LEDs, otherwise I probably would not. I have been adding 0-50-30 PK from week 3-5 on-wards depending on the strain, but I dial back the MC to only 4-4.5 grams/G when I do. And the PK I add is from Home Grown Hydroponics (dutch nutrient), I only add 1/2 the recommended dose.

Bottom line is I'm sure the stuff works fine on it's own but every situation is different and the PK can add a bit of weight, but I haven't tried it on its own. Other people do though.

MC has taken the sting out of watching the runoff go down the drain. That was hard to see with the liquid gold bottled nutes. Made ya want to burn some hund-o's in the wood stove.
MC is so cheap I don't even worry on the price of nutes now. Gotta be the best deal in the nute market. Stand alone or add a few things...either way...works well.

I'm pretty sure my runoff is more than 20%...so the price break is nice.
As I said a few posts back...the root system is off the charts for me now. I notice just last night how even the new plants into flower are rooting up much sooner. I'm gonna have to leave more room in the pot to accommodate the slow draining through effect now. I assume this is good...more roots...more uptake of nutes?
