O wow !! Guess they have been putting in work to make sure there product is the best it can be ! With most of us hobby growers switching to led and more and more commercial growers are now switching... the company is probably making there nutrient line work in conjunction with the led feeding needs. Aka more MG !

We shouldn't have to add epsom salts...
If they were smart they would include two types of magnesium in there calmag... magnesium nitrite and sulfate. Instead of having the magnesium sulfate (epsom salts) in the sweet candy.

Well it may be because I'm running autos, but I already topped out at 4g of MC per gal of water at the highest point, and just under a gram of BE per gallon.
My actual mix was 10 gallons of water, 40g MC, 13.25g SC, 9.46g BE between the second to fifth weeks of flower.

You have any pics by chance?

Good idea.
Considered dry koolbloom which is 2-45-28. I need to do some tds per gram testing with both.

Day 29.

Definitely an abundance of nitrogen... looks like a little mg def as well.

Hopefully the new formula helps with that.
But for the megacrop i would definitely relax a bit on that. I would lower my megacrop to 4g then raise my bud explosion up to 1.3-1.5g
Also the calmag has 13% nitrogen. So that could be part of the problem your having as well. During flower ease back a bit on the calmag. I only use the cal mag once a week and it seems to do the trick.

Idk if this is actually how this works.... but if you added it all together...

N- 22%
P- 6% ( veg ) 26% (flower)
K- 33% (veg) 74% (flower)
Mg- 11.3% (veg) 12.3% (flower)
Ca- 16.6%
S- 15.3% (veg) 25.3% (flower)

AGAIN I HAVE NO CLUE IF THIS IS CORRECT LOL.i just added up the numbers per nutrient.

In my head it makes sense. Because you are gi ing each of these nutrients at the same time (flower) so yes i totally agree that is alot K!

BUT PLANTS GROW EXTREMELY HEALTHY USING THIS NUTRIENT... so they must know a few things lol
Youre just adding percents. to get ppms per gallon you need to multiply the percents (of each element) x the dosage amount (say 4.5 grams) x 2.43 (per gallon)= close to ppms of each element per gallon. P and K need to be multiplied by .43 (p) and .83 (k) to get availabe phosphorus and potassium.

I tried to KISS, no calmag. (I do precharge my bagged coco)
Yeah, I had calmag defs early on. Upping the MC did not solve the problem.
Most recent I suspect minor P def.

Today I tossed 1/2 a G per gallon of GH's Dry KoolBloom. Still at 5 G's of MC.
My testing showed around 55ppm per 1/2 gram of the DKB, per Gallon. (.500)

Lookin good Nabbers.

Hey bud curious to see your results. I recently transplanted a root bound gelato 33 that was in a one gal for a month.... the one gal plants are nice and green but the ones i transplanted are looking a bit yellow... i precharged the coco with 5g calmag 8g megacrop per 5 gallons. Took about 7 gallons to rehydrate the brick.
I transplanted it a week ago. Three days after transplant fed 4g megacrop 1g calmag 1g epsom salts.

Still having yellowing issues. I assume its cause the plants were root bound lol. Give it another week and we shall see. Got 5 in a 2x4x5 with a 260 watt QB 288 v2 kit running at 185 watts

I THINK its because in bloom, plants love the extra Sulfur(ie: sulfate)
Lol another reason why they might not add epsom salts into the cal-mag is cause this is what happens... at least to me.... brand new bag of epsom salts Cal-mag is a few months old.
Turned the entire bag yellow ?!? Everything was white when i started hahahaah.15528719679883930487688579705275.jpg

I dont use GL anymore. Some of their business practices makes them a company I no longer will support. To much bait and switch and false claims.
PLEASE EXPLAIN.... cause your the only one I've heard of so far that switched back to previous nutes...
