"In the future, the drone may carry weapons (it's designed to do so), but Gage says he sees no immediate need to equip it with any. The drone can be armed with what Gage calls "less lethal weapons" such as Tasers and stun batons. A couple of deputies are almost finished training to pilot ShadowHawk from the ground, and the residents of Conroe might see the helicopter in action as soon as December 2011"

This is another great step forward for our country- this will make it easier to kill bad guys without having to waste time and money with trials and lawyers and jails, this way we just kill all the bad guys and america wins. It's going to be so cool when these things are everywhere, I thought all the helicopters were cool but these will be way better.

lol. Those "drones" can be purchased at the local mall for 100 bucks. I saw the exact same model with a different paint job for sale there yesterday. That's less of a drone and more of a toy helicopter with a video camera strapped to the bottom.

Wow , $100 dollar toy helicopters with FLIR, thats fucking cool, boy the prices on FLIR sure have come down alot over the years, the ones i worked on cost a minimum of $7 million each, but thats high tech military shit, i imagine the $100 heli doesn't have one that costs so much. Video looks as good though.

wow. 7 million! I recently bought a quantum light meter and the company sent me a catalog with FLIR cameras priced between $2-6k. I've seen occupy protests using these same helicoptors with streaming cameras attached to them to check out police activity. Guess these things can be used for or against the police.

Also I just found the newest and most deadly drone yet. It's top sekret so shhhhh! Don't tell anyone.
