Can a female plant produce some seeds and still make good bud or if there is any seeds is that called a hermaphrodite

Do you have a male plant, or pollen? If so you can use a paintbrush to paint certain buds to make just those produce seeds. If you do it right, the rest of the plant will just make bud since they don't get pollinated.

bud that is seeded generally isn't worth smoking, depends how heavily seeded of course. i've had plants get a few seeds here and there and the bud was still great.

a female produces seeds naturally if pollinated by a male, if it gets seeds and you can be sure there are no males in the area then it is generally a herm plant (it grows male and female parts to pollinate it's self)

Like I said im new n havnt grown yet just asking - iv had some killer bag seed n there was a seed n there just didnt understand tht it could have seeds n still b good bud

I think you answered your own question. If the bagseed had a seed and was still killer, obviously seeded weed can be good, because you smoked good seeded weed.

Seems to contradict wht others have said -iv never grew so I didnt know if a female could get seeds if there wasn't a male around - I didnt know if they cud go Hermie by themselves

Just making sure you know this but,

You don't want your plants to herm on you. Usually happens as a result of stress, like a light leak or something during your dark period.

I read up on some info that said: if you wait till the buds have bloomed with thc then you can pollinate so that you could have good potent buds and seeds to retain genetics. It seems strategic but im not sure. Has amyone heard of this?
