Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread in a positive manner, I have had a good read of all of the posts and I reckon they will help me out with my next grow. To clarify some points I never said that I was getting 2-3lb a plant but I do know people who are!

Maybe outside and they had to be huge not in dem lil pots he had and he would need sun not those lil lights he had.

Wait for FDD's yields on his outdoor mega plants...He's NOT going to pull down 3-5 lbs per plant and this is someone growing outdoors and knows what he is doing.
Unless you want to spend months vegging and training your indoor plants and then wait 2 months for flowering you will not pull down a pound per plant indoors. Why spend months on big plants when you can pull down a lb every 8 weeks off of 16 clones.
If it's so common then why don't attention whores like Ed Rosenthal and Jorge Cervantes put out a book telling us how it's done??? It would be the best selling grow book of all time. Even at Adavanced Nutrients they "brag" about getting 2 lbs off of a 1000 watter.
I'll step off my soap box now....get your self some co2!!

The numbers you all are talking about are ridiculous, if ANYONE gets these numbers they should retire and write a book, or show everyone how it's done.
I grow shorter plants, about 3 weeks veg, 9 plants per 600W, and I get just over a pound per light. No supercropping fimming or topping. I do trim out small inner branches and fan leaves to promote better growth towards colas.
Perpetual harvesting is a bitch if you have a complex watering schedule, mixing up different feedings and all. I seperated 8 lights into two rooms, one lit during the day and one at night, and they are on different schedules so I harvest about once a month, but it's still a little bit of a pain reading two different charts for watering schedules.

Your lights are nowhere near da suns light intensity.
I aint even tryin to shit u bra but you cant use the grams per watt on 4 plants esp only vegged fo 4 weeks.
I dont kno if this is ya 1st grow but u will realize this is out da ?. I know u want da most weed in da least amt of time hence u tryin to get 9.8lbs off 4 plants believe me i kno.
Be easy n when u get/show proof n how u did it cause i kno pple will look once u sho it but until...

The logics is that da math you tryin to use is impossible to do on 4 15-17in plants goin into flower bra. If ya plant is bigger goin into flower hence bigger yield but 32onion material is next to impossible in my eyes.
Can i ask where you got this 2lb per plant theroy bra? I google dat shit couldnt even find on how to get one.
Do u know how easy it would be fo all growers (me esp) if we could grow 1 32onion plant bra? Dont you think it would be on here in sumones grow diary?
