What are some suggestions for this setup. im wanting the maximum yeild i can possibly get. My current setup is as follows.

a 9x4x6 1/2 ft area (36 sq feet)
2x 400w hps (air cool tube)
1x 150w hps
6x 6 site diy dwc 18 gallon hydro systems
6x dual tube 50w flourescent tubes (cool white) hanging vertically along the wall
1x 190 cfm carbon scrubber and inline fan
1x 400cfm squirrel cage fan bringing new air into the space
emergency camping blankets as reflection along the walls
and the strain (kolossus) from sannies seeds

as for nutrients im using the bc recipe for success at around 800-900 ppm for flowering and vegging at about half that until my plants are 12 inches tall. so basically what i am asking is if i induce bud cycle at 12 inches tall and i have optimal light for my space with good nutes how tall will my plants be after flowering for 8 weeks and what should i expect as far as dry yeild is concerned. also if anyone has any suggestions on what i should do in this space please share. This is my first grow so im still new but have done extensive research over the past 3 months so im somewhat educated. im thinking a sog or scrog grow so i can do lots of harvests and have a quick turn around.

a well practiced grower can achieve 1 gram of flower per 1 watt hps lighting, of course give or take. However, even with that being said, there are still too many variables. If you have temp or air flow issues, maybe growing a lower yielding strain... see what I mean?

i understand. so do you have any suggestions on what kind of grow i should do for a maximum yeild with this setup?

1 gram per watt would be BLOODY amazing good goal but a good grow u could achieve would be .6-.7 that would be amazing

Ahh the good old pandora's box of questions lol. Let me know how it turns out. Namaste!

You should expect a 50% stretch in height from beginning of flower to maximum height. This will occur in the first three weeks and they will stay the same height for the last 5 weeks.

both scrog and sog are really good options. scrog keeps plant counts low, and sog is waaay more perpetual. try flowering clones while waiting for the screens to fill up, then flowering the trained canopy(s). of course remove a few cuttings before flowering, to start the whole process over. :)

I don't think you should worry about SOG or SCROG or yield with your first grow. Just get a couple females going and see what happens. You will probably screw up somewhere else, probably during veg or early flower, that will trump the grow method and yield expectations. There are things you learn during an actual grow that you cannot learn from simply reading. Like when you realize your odor control is completely inadequate and you smell your grow from the front yard. Then you have a much larger problem.

Get one successful harvest under your belt and go from there.
