Max light/lumens/wattage for seedlings

Need some advice please and thank you.

Just need advice from other growers about when they grow seedlings under lights that have'nt experince their plants being burnt and their lights and that they were using to put one up for my seedlings so they dont get burnt

I would keep a t5 110w light about 6-8 inches away until they are about 2 weeks old, then lower it until it starts to have bad effects on canopy temp.

I used my 600w mh, 36" away, they seem to be doing great.

I once sprouted seedlings with a 1000 watt hps in a closet with no ventilation.

Lol I have I 440 cfm fan pooling hot air out and cold air in, but my house is a hot motherfucker now, I cant even think about running my second 600w. I wish I woulda forked up the money for the cool tubes, but im gonna run a sealed room with cooling hoods next grow

No joke.. I ended up moving them a week or two after they sprouted into a different area. But Besides wasting a shit load of energy for no reason It wasn't a problem. It was a mini walk in closet like a 4x8

I dont think theres really a max. However using a cfl/led to start off is always a winner!

Man your lucky, it must of been a cold mofo outside, its 95'f here and if I turned my fan off it would probably get so hot in there it would probably burst into flames lol. and mine us 3x10
