when flowering if you have a longer dark period will your plant bud more and grow less? i was wondering because i think i vegged to long and my plant might get to big for my grow area, and i heard that your plant will focus more on budding then growing if the lighting schedule was say 10/14 or 11/13 os this true? false? maybe? any help is appreciated.

I have never heard of that, I have flowered with 10 hours light and 14 hours of dark and it seems that they get done a little faster, but I prefer the normal 12/12. That always seems to work the best. If your plants are too big try pruning them up and letting them veg for another 4 or 5 days to get over the stress then throw them into flower....
