Mating effect Bloom time?

Alright people, here's the skinny..

I decided to do some experimental mating for various reasons.

Using a male NL plant I decided to mate the following.

1. Ice
2. Purple Widow
3. My own strain (Stupid Bud)

What I've noticed is my Bloom time damn near doubled from 8 weeks to 14 weeks. Some of the lower branches could be harvested but the cola's are far from ripe. I'm about 10% amber and I prefer harvesting at about 50%

Leaves are yellowing as if time is near but the buds themselves do not appear ready.

Have you ever had this issue?

Stupid Bud was just a couple personal strains from exceptional bag weed from years ago that I mated a long long time ago, everyone loved it, and most told me it made them feel really stupid, a friend nick named it Stupid Bud a long time ago and the name just stuck..
