Math question.

Tire size changing speedometer,
265 75 16. 265mm width 75% of 265 is height.

Want to change to 245 75 16, How much will this change my speedometer?

My stoner mind cant compute.

So at 1000mph my speed will actually be 962.68 mph.

Use the gps shouldn’t matter

So if I go 30K miles ,Ill be getting ripped off.My truck will have less miles then what the odometer says.

So I should disconnect my speedometer every once in awhile right? Just to keep things honest.

why do you want to do this?

Original tire size is 245. GPS Speedo says maybe 2-3 mph out. So I don’t know if it’s been re calibrated. Or how accurate the gps Speedo is.
New used truck has worn 265. So debating on which new tire size I’ll get. Most likely the 245.

get the tire size specified by the vehicle manufacture; speedo should be calibrated for that size.

Pretty sure he knows that, he wants to change size
