ok so i have began germintating my seeds. now i was wondering if anyone had some soil mixtures they have used befor to start out some really strong plants. does anyone have a good recipes for soil ? if you do please be specific right down to the brand names and stores you got them at. i plan to take buy the stuff tonight! thanks in advance for your posts.

you can buy miracle grow at walmart. and then buy some coffee beans and put them into the soild and that will make them grow up big and strong(my mom used it to grow her plants when she used to grow them) but yeah im using it now and i just got done germintation and it took 2 days for the root to grow 3 inches.

i've used a generic mix from a local garden store. i think its for roses, however its about 35% perlite and not very dense at all, which will help the roots set out strong right away, so far its worked amazing... and it's damn cheap!

but yes if you can get foxfarms, thats probably going to be your best bet.

From experience I always used Pro Mix with about 10% potting soil mixed in very well. Pro Mix is hard to wet, so put the Pro Mix and potting soil into a heavy garbage bag, then add a little water at a time. Rock the bag around, flipping it over and mixing the stuff together. You get nicely moistened starter soil and no mess. Do not fertilize for two weeks because there are already enough in the mix, then fertilize lightly every week with a 15 30 15 fertilizer for a couple weeks to promote healthy root growth Then go with a higher first number for vegetative vigor

high p in veg will cause more males.

use superthrive for root growth, and use a high n fert for veg.
