For someone who needs a tad bit of a phosphorus supplement would it be an option to grind up match heads? If anyone has heard of this and knows a little more about it than me, stop on in...
Well matches contain red phosphorus, which is also used in fertilizers. They also contain potassium chlorate, which there are studies that show it helps with flowering in plants.
So from my google search I would say it's worth a try lol
Yeah I Googled it too. It was a little mixed on opinions, some say the state of the phosphorus on the match head needs to be broken down before it's usable. Not sure if doing it now would even give it e ought time for it to do anything.
Ive had weird leaf problems since flower. Random dry spots here and there. I've flushed (weeks ago) trimmed affected leaves. She slowed then rocketed back then stalled again with slow bud growth. Today is the start of week 8. fastbuds GSC
Get some bone meal at WMart or Lowes or anywhere if you think you neeed Phos. $5/bag. Grinding up matches sounds pretty stupid, who knows what chems are in the match heads.

I'm hitting week 8 of flower, probably too late to worry about it. Here's some pics of leaves that are affected as well as sweet nug shots. The last pic is my "binary root system"
